Hello everyone, my name is Sarah and I am 32 years old. I weight 241.2 pounds and would like to set my goal to 200 pounds to start. I have always had difficulty loosing the weight and keeping it off. Before now my heaviest was about 220. Three years ago I had my son. While pregnant I gained about 40 pounds and after giving birth it came right off. However in the last couple of years since having my son, I have gained more weight. My body is in rough shape. My joints are sore, I sometimes become winded and playing with my son can become difficult at times. I want to loss weight to feel better about myself, to be happy and to do things with my family without feel tired or in pain. I have lost weight before and have fallen off the wage but have never gotten back on, to the point where I feel discouraged. Especially doing it on my own. I am happy to say that I am not alone anymore. Not only do I have the suppose of all of you, but I also have my mums support as well. She has been on her own journey for the last four month and now we can do this together. I feel now, that I have the suppose I need to finally accomplish my goal.

You’ll get there, trust me. And when you do, you’ll feel so much better. The trick is consistently. Log carefully& weigh everything, make time for some form of exercise (I walk and do a 20minute YouTube low impact workout with Popsugar twice a week) and don’t give in to temptation when you’re tired, feeling down or bored. It’s so worth the initial sacrifices because after the first 8 weeks it becomes pure habit. Also don’t buy trigger foods: foods you can’t control yourself around (for me it’s mayo, large bars of chocolate & pesto!). Still have treats, but within your calories (I save 170 calories every day for tea and chocolate so I don’t feel deprived). Friday and Saturday I have a frozen pizza (half each night with loads of salad) which still fits into my daily calories.2

Feel free to add me as a friend if you want to! In 2018 I lost 70lbs using MFP so I can attest that it works very well as long as you eat what they recommend and weight your food for accuracy. My son was just born in January so I’m back now working to lose the 50lbs I gained during pregnancy. I’m down about 40lbs, and once I reach that goal I hope to lose another 15-20lbs. You can do this!0
