Successes/struggles of the week: My average weight for March was on the high side, but my weight this past week dropped quite a bit. Part of that was because I made some changes and increased my weekly step goal, but I think part of it was also because I was getting over some mild food poisoning until about Wednesday of this week - I had hardly any appetite due to the stomach issues. Luckily, I seem to be pretty much back to normal now, though I've kept my food intake to mostly bland foods the rest of the week just in case. I'm getting some takeout food tonight, and will test how my stomach reacts to it. Hopefully all will be normal!5 -

Success: Had my first chip timed road race today since COVID and got a personal best. 57:06 for a 10K. Finished 7th overall, but first in Women's Master Division. Granted, it was a small race, but very, very pleased with my time. Also, logged faithfully every day this week. Got my first vaccine shot on Thursday. 2nd dose is scheduled for the 25th. Oh, and found a way to channel my baking hobby for good: There is an organization called Potluck in the Park that prepares lunch for homeless people every Sunday and they needed people to bake cookies. I dropped off my first set of cookies today. Plan to do it next week too. Finally, reset my weight goal in MFP - making it official my intention to get down to 155. I've been drifting downward in maintenance and decided why not just got for it and see if I can't loose the last bit of jiggly bits on my body. I might need to go to 150, but one step at a time.

Maintenance weight range: 65-75 kg (not sure what’s the right answer - been up and down in there numerous times in my life, apart from going way over 2010-2015).
I’d like to lose a bit to get back to 70 kg, but I’m still happy at around 75 kg.
I’m experimenting with seeing how my satiety levels are in relation to the types of foods I eat. Trying to eat more whole foods, which I’ve been getting pretty good at, and less sugar, and it’s going quite well.

Success of the week: Realizing that I really have stopped the slow gain from October through February and started working my way back down. Two pounds in March is a healthy rate to get back in my maintenance range.

Struggling to get my weight up to my ideal but at least I’m not losing weight. I have spent a lot of time with my daughter-in-law over the last few weeks and I eat whatever is put in front of me, but my appetite is poor and I am very restless and fidgety.
My son’s funeral is this week – a very constrained event due to the Covid rules – still finding it hard to believe it’s real.

Success: Stayed at goal. Ate a small pizza myself. My son and wife came over and with my husband, we ordered pizza and ate it on the deck. We are all fully vaccinated except my son who had his second shot but is in his two week waiting period to be "fully." I have to have gluten free pizza so it was all for me.
Struggle: I was very hungry one afternoon and had some tortilla chips. It worked. I felt much better so it was real hunger, not "I want to eat" feeling. It is a struggle for me to tell the difference.

Lost to 81 kg at Easter 2020 (top of normal bmi for me), but then gained back to 88 kg in April/May (Easter egg binge; lock down closed the pool...).

Not a maintainer just yet but looking forward to it! Have gone from 220 to 195 in 4 months with about 5 pounds to go. I'm looking forward to adding back some calories and finding my maintenance point. Probably about 6 weeks and I'll be there!5

I am taking the next step to make maintenance easier.
I did NOT over-react when scale went up a bit.
I am giving myself the time to figure this out.
Struggles: ya know - all the stuff we are all going through
+ an ocular migraine & fatigue: better now!
I re-learned that when I am in pain or sick, I EAT. That mostly accounts for the uptick this week.
Theories I have: uncomfortable so I eat, think I need food to be more energetic, mis-directed self-care. Luckily I’m rarely in pain or sick, but I have added this as an area to problem-solve down the road. Ticking them off, one by one, never giving up.

Successes: rolling and monthly averages under 75kg - yay! The rolling average is up a bit but that reflects the faact that I had three days over the weekend when I didnt exercise. I weighed in at 75.5 kg yesterday, so I was expecting that today's to be higher than it was.
Struggles: Easter eggs... Wine... Finding the right balance, especially with (milk) chocolate goodies, so that I enjoy but don't over-indulge. I don't know why I find milk chocolate so much harder to regulate than dark chocolate, but I do.
Reflection: I really needed those three rest days, but it was good to get moving again this morning.

Successes/struggles of the week: I'm trying to find unique ways to motivate myself to go for at least one long walk every week. Today, I'm walking to and from one of my favorite bakeries, which is a good 6.6 mile roundtrip walk - with the delicious reward of lots of baked goods at the end of it! Of course, I way over-ordered when I pre-ordered from them, but I'll be able to spread most of the items out over a couple of days and freeze some of the rest of them. Then, in a few days, I'm meeting a couple of friends for an outdoor happy hour at a restaurant that's about a 30 min walk in each direction from me.3 -

Successes: My monthly average is still under 75kg, which is where I want it.
Struggles: I weighed in today 1 kg up from yesterday but apart from yesterday, my weigh ins this week have been between 75.0 and 75.7. That's still within my maintanance but up form last week. It raises the concern in my mind that my weight might be driffting back upwards. It's back to the question of how to integrate wine and chocolate at a level that is not over-indulging.3
