    What’s your goal weight? You could go for 2 pounds per week if you have a lot to lose (in the beginning). But it’s always good to go slow and easy if you want long term results.

    Why not split the difference. Go for 1.5 to start. See how it goes. Eat back your exercise calories. That’s pretty aggressive. You may want to drop back to 1 pound. But try it! Then you’ll know.
