    Hi Ladies!

    Sorry I haven't been on. I was diagnosed with strep throat yesterday. I have been feeling like garbage since Wed. My checks aren't going to be great for this week, but I am still losing despite the lack of exercise. 2.6 lbs this week!

    My birthday is Sunday. I will be good but I'm not going to stress over extra calories. I'll make it up to you all next week! Promise!!

    soooo since I got th app on my phone I dnt make the time to get on the site on the weekends. Lol.

    So all week my exercies were done.

    Calories were under.

    Water 5/7 days.

    Although...this is kind of bogus. I only ate HALF an order of Nachos yesterday during the football games, and I only ate HALF of HALF of an Applebees salad...the rest is still in my fridge. I just don't know how to get my food diary to reflect that. So, I know that i was under my calories...but MFP doesn't recognize that. Just saying. There's still no excuse for me to be doing so poorly, though...and I'm not quitting.

    Hey guys sorry MIA this weekend was at a wedding in NY.... food and water check...did exercises but not the ones listed (hotel gym) .... Hope everyone has a great weekend and I'm ready to for the week to come ! !

    Worked out all but 1 day - sorry - on Saturdays I have a hard time fitting it in because I'm doing so many other activities.

    Food - on target 6 of 7 days, water 7 of 7.

    Stephanie- I don't know where everybody is....I email and ask everyone to check in and give me a weigh in. It is a little frustrating because, they joined the challenge and then don't do it. :grumble:

    I feel like a nag...so I am not gonna bug anybody anymore.

    I wish! No leaves no cooler weather in Florida. It was 94 here today. I can't wait for the cooler weather so my daughter and I can go on walks outside again.

  • I posted it on Friday and haven't had the courage to weigh again. Since I had to take an exercise break and didn't do so well on cals this weekend.

    215.6 last time I checked! :happy:

    Water was great all week. Monday and Tues. got my exercise checks but by Wed I was miserable with the strep.

    I'm back in full force today to make it up to you all and myself. 13.28 miles on my bike and all of the Bushman done for day one. Under cal goal with the 500 I burned and water is good.

  • What happened to our team???? This board has been dead all week! I know Gary is revamping due to lack of participation but I don't want to relocate to a new team. Those of you from the August challenge I want to stay together.

    Angel, we haven't had much cooler weather....I am just EXCITED about it.:love: (the thought of it I guess)

    Well, I signed up to be captain, I am staying and will through the month. (not sure how motivating I am since only a precious few are actually doing what they are supposed to) I am not getting all the exercises in either but, I am checking in. (with myself) :laugh:


    Oh well, we will be a small but mighty team. :ohwell:

    I have family down there and lived there for a few years in my childhood. Where are you now? Are you going for vaca or business?

    Have fun either way and if you get a chance go to Sanibel Island if the oil spill didn't ruin it!

    I'm heading down for a girl's weekend, my friend's inlaws have a condo there so we get to stay for free :) Thanks for the tip, I'll have to write that down to check it out.

    Brutus15 is my husband and joined basically to stop me from nagging him about joining. He doesn't like the MFP page and no longer wishes to participate. HOWEVER- it was not a complete failure. It has motivated him to start exercising again, so even though he's not in our 'Tribe" anymore- he IS doing P90X again. Sorry guys- looks like we're down a player.

    Got to go get me some more water, but I got a check for exercise and food has been awesome! I made Kale soup for lunch and it was delicious! And I made Kale chips last night, so easy and very tasty. It reminded me a little of cabbage at first (taste) and by the time I was done it totally tasted like popcorn!

    My husband is rbeach17 and he isn't doing it either! Damnit

    Oh well, we tried. Sorry, I guess our team has fallen apart but, we will see it though to the end. :drinker:

    I ate some high sodium things the last few days so, I am up a few pounds of water UGH-I am going to try and drink double my water for the day

    I also joined Body and Soul Aerobics at church this week, has anyone else ever done it

    I made kale chips recently.

    Rinse em off and dry them. Tear them into pieces and coat in olive oil. I used chipotle flavored olive oil. N bake. Yummy!!

    Check in for everything... all is good. Woot.

    hey everyone.....i've drank all my water and stayed under with calories...but not with the best choice...my 23 month old is having a rough time separating from me since my husband left.....so yeah workouts r hard if i dont get them in first thing...weight is the same !...hope everyone has an awesome weekend !
  • I'm going to be honest with everyone and say I am super bored with our exercise challenge and can't get motivated to do them. Our team has fallen apart. we aren't checking in on a regular basis or even converse. I'm not giving up but I am losing motivation to be part of the challenge.

    I did spin 13 miles tonight . Water good cals slightly over but it's because I don't add in every move I make and The program has dropped me down to 1200 cals even though I am eating healthy.

    My BMR is 1500 and I am now an active person so 1200 might be too low. What do you think?
