I had a tooth removed Thursday I was told no heavy lifting bending so on for a few days. My fella wants me to wait till Monday until I start with my weights till Monday to be sure what’s everyone’s views?

Why not call the dentist and confirm if Monday is okay? A few days for me would be Monday or Tuesday onwards, but for the dentist a few days may differ.5

Ask the dentist. When it was on the upper jaw, doing something heavy might create a connection towards your sinus/nose: cue infection. If it was on the lower jaw this might have some impact on the big nerve running there. Also not a good idea.6

Ask the dentist. If they won’t give you a clear date, I’d personally wait a full week just to be sure. Dental stuff can cause nasty issues. I think it’s better to wait a few days extra now out of caution than suffer through an extra layer of hell because you rushed things.5

Why not just do what the doc says.
Increased blood pressure could blow the clot out of the socket, and that's not good. Lifting would increase blood pressure. Same with bending, the increased blood pressure to your head could dislodge the socket healing.6 -

This! This list also includes a sharp breaking action in the car to avoid an accident. Cue return visit to dental surgeon as I could suddenly inhale with my nose, and the air ended up in my mouth. Cue antibiotics and long healing. Don't overdo things too quickly, TO. Take your time to heal.7 -

This. My daughter is a welder and when she had her wisdom teeth pulled she was off work for a couple of weeks. Bending and lifting is the worst combination.2 -

My views are you should do what your healthcare provider told you to.0

Personally, I'd compare the downside risk of starting sooner (problems healing), with the downside risk of skipping workouts (slightly lower calorie allowance since strength training doesn't burn much, small delay in reaching strength goals, *maybe* teeny tiny strength loss that will be quickly regained).
Everyone's risk tolerance is different.1 -
You could try with the easiest single exercises you can think of. Do a bodyweight squat. Feel some pulling sensation or pain at the extraction site? Stop. Not? Try something else, rinse and repeat. But seriously, I would wait a bit longer.1
