What little things bother you about your SO?

We all know it's the little things that count when it comes to romance. A quick kiss on the forehead, cuddling on the couch, etc. But what sort of little things bother you that your SO does? (SO means significant other, for anyone that doesn't know.) Perhaps a habit they have you wish they didn't, or the way they chew their food (<---that is my irksome thing. It's like he never learned to CLOSE his mouth!) So what little thing bothers you?
To keep it from becoming a *****fest, try to name one little thing you LOVE as well! Mine would be that no matter how busy or horrible our day was, he always makes the time to just sit and cuddle on the couch, and he ALWAYS asks me how my day was.

Bother = His nosiness about 'who' I am talking to or texting.
Love = Same as above in a way - because it means he wants me all for himself!0 -
His invisibility. Effing annoying.0

The best thing about my husband is that he truly puts me first. He is very thoughtful! The worst thing? He snores so. damn. loud. I mean, it's freakin' awful! I'm saving up for one of those somnodent things that fit in the mouth to keep the jaw out so he can sleep without me killin' him.0

He doesn't do any housework.... we both work 40 hours a week but yet I'm the one who has to do EVERYTHING and his jobs are outside which includes mowing the lawn once a month. He even tells me I need to take my car to get the oil changed because it's MY car. Really? Rude. We have had countless arguments about it.
I do love how dedicated he is to his job... he is a firefighter and EMT and he has a passion for helping others (which is ironic since he doesn't help me at home!)0 -

You never know, you might miss it when it's gone! lol0 -

Hmmm, well, mine chews with his mouth closed, but I can hear his teeth chomping as he chews sometimes - and that drives me nuts. lol.. I know, it's petty, but hey.... We spend a LOT of time together and repetitive noises are a pet peeve of mine. Oh, and also he has an absolutely ridiculous sound system in his car... It's really obnoxious. Sigh.
What do I love about him? I love that he genuinely cares about me. He cares about my day, my feelings, everything. I've never had a man that cares so much about me and everything about me. He makes me feel special and loved every single day and reminds me of why he thinks I'm special just about every day also.0 -
first of all, I LOVE how supportive my husband is of all my goals, weight wise, school, career, he has dedicated his life to making me happy and comfortable and he has done amazingly well! He always talks to me about my problems, and he supported that I would not move in with him until we were married even though he had been married before so it was only natural to him , it was actually the one thing that got his attention and kept him there longer, that is what he said later as least. So he flew me to San Diego and paid for me to live there away for him, picked up all my bills just so I wouldn't have to work, ect, wow, most men would never do that especially if they knew they wouldn't get to live with the girl a while. that has always stood out to me.
Thing that bothers me: dutch ovens? Doesn't open doors and stuff like that as much anymore0 -
What annoys me about my Husband is he doesn't really listen to me.
One thing I love though is he is a very family-oriented man with good values.0 -
bothersome: He seems to forget where his shoes and socks belong, I mean I hate laying on the couch and smelling feet just to discover he shoved his socks in the couch... lol
something I like.... He so patient and never gets upset about much of anything which is good because im stubborn as a mule.0 -

1000 little things
those things are miles
and he burps too much0 -
Bothersome: So.. many.. things..
things I love: He doesnt fight because he knows I will win0 -

Huh? Is that a contradiction? How can a "very family-oriented man with good values" not listen to his wife?0 -
Mine isnt romantic and when he tries its just funny because he is so awkward with it. The things I love about him are so many I dont know where to start, but I will say he wants us(me and our children) to have everything we desire, which in return causes him to be a workaholic.(oops, thats 2 faults)
Funny that I dont ask for much. Im way more about the family and doing things together.
Bottom line is in order to be with him for the past 20 years I have learned to accept all good and bad.0 -
Bother me: He is always right about things. And I don't mean here and there, a couple times a week. I mean every. damn. thing. At first I loved it, but now with my low self esteem, it bothers me a bit. And when I vent to him, he always comes back with "well say something"... it pisses me off.. like if I can't vent to you, who can I vent to? And if you're not going to listen and understand and just let me get it out, then I'll keep it bottled in and when I explode one day, it will be because you never just sat and listened to me venting. Sometimes I'd rather not say something to someone because I don't want to start ****. And then he always says so something or stop complaining about it.. grrr....
And what I love... he works hard to provide for us. My sons aren't his but he treats them as if they were. He wakes up every day at 4:30am (he has only called out once in the past year- due to snow) and goes to work for us. I work too, but only part time evenings for a few hours, so it's nothing like his work. And he also helps out occasionally around the house without having to be asked.0 -
I love many things about him but my favorite thing is how he makes sure that he calls me every morning before he starts his day to see how my day is going and tell me he loves me. He also met me at my heaviest weight and loved me inspite of it and is a huge support system for my weight loss.
Annoying: He is very fit and can eat next to anything and not gain a pound...jerk! HAHA I also HATE to hear people chew and sometimes he can be loud without realizing it.0 -
When he's sick he turns into the biggest pathetic baby!! All day yesterday and last night he's taking him temp like every half hour, saying repeatedly "Aww daddy's sick... I'm sick" This morning he even said "don't you feel sorry for me I'm sick" OH MY GOOOOOSH!!! He turns into this completely different person and I can't stand it! Then when I'm sick he just stays away so he wont get sick. He might take the afternoon off to watch the kids, but then he's dragging my *kitten* around saying getting "out" will make me feel better. BS! Yes I can't stand him at the moment.
Oh oops... forgot what I love. Lots. All of his strong points are my weaknesses. Yeah.. I'll think about that later.. LOL0 -
Bothers me: He's an effin' Talk Blocker! Whenever I'm talking on the phone to a friend, he always has to talk to me AND whoever I'm on the phone with by making little comments in the background. Or, tell her this, say that, ask this....Of course, when HE is on the phone with someone, no one better make a sound or it's off with your head!
Good things: He puts up with all my annoying crap. And I snore pretty loud for a woman ;^D0 -
I my hubby, or I wouldn't have moved over 3000 miles (this time and i get to do every few years) with him, but he just doesn't have common sense!!! Example; I'll wash the dishes and he'll put a spoon in the sink. He can't wash 1 little spoon? He'll put things ON top of the already overflowing recycle bin. He can't take it out?? He puts his laundry on the floor, less then 2 FEET away from the basket...... you get the point. That is the ONE thing that drives me CRAZY!!!!!0

HAHA I can so relate to the talk blocker. My one sister tells me that if he does not shut up I am going to come over and kick his butt.0 -
What I love about my husband is that he doesn't share the petty, irritating little things I do with people on the internet.0

IM OFFENDED BECAUSE MY SO IS PERFECT IN EVERY WAY0

So I love that my hubby agrees to use the hall bath and give me the master bath to myself. I am very OCD and can't stand his stuff in my way.
I hate that when he is out of toothpaste, shampoo, or toilet paper he gets it out of my bathroom instead of out of the linen closet. So then I have to go to the linen closet to get more because then I am out. And the kicker? The linen closet is closer to his bathroom than my bathroom is. I just don't get it!0 -
She's not romantic in the slightest, drinks and smokes all the time, and is on the computer too much
On the other hand, she can drop me from 200 yards away with her sexy stares, looks and smiles.0 -
One thing that gets me fired up everytime is his chewing with his mouth open. I see a cow just chewing on grass everytime I think about it. Gross!
Best thing about him.....A day does not go by that he does not kiss me or tell me he loves me at least four times during that day. I call him my "I love you" *kitten*. LOL.....I never get tired of hearing it though!0 -
Bother: He doesn't like to go out ANYWHERE but the movie theater and the gym! No beach, no park, no dinner at a restaurant (the restaurant doesn't really bother me but I'd like the option. jeez). And when we DON'T go to the gym and I hang out at his house or he hangs out at mine then we RENT movies! I'm tired of watching movies all the time. He says he's just a "simple" kind of guy. Also, he doesn't like taking pictures...and I LOVE taking pictures.
Love: I love him so much that the bother part fades away easily. He has VERY good manners, especially towards older people, and he can make friends with just about anyone. He makes me laugh ALL the time. He is big and tough on the outside but so sweet and adorable in the inside. He is the BEST friend I have ever had and I'm so thankful to have such a wonderful boyfriend. He is protective and he likes me to call him everywhere I go even if I'm just leaving the house for a few minutes and he calls me everywhere he goes too.
I can make this Love part go on and on............lol0 -
Things that bother me: the fact when he watches tv he cant hear anything else (but i have to give him an ok he has some hearing lose from his damn job lol), he is pathetic when he is sick like the whole world ends!
Good things there are just too many to list, first off he provides for me and the kids so I can stay home with the kids and be a stay at home mom. He is good at his job (works on subs in the navy) and he is so family oriented. he is sweet to me and loves me for me! he has that southern hospitality and i am from the north so its a nice thing to level us out lmao he is so well mannered my dad was impressed when he met him. He will do anything for me and my kids and i love him so much0 -
hate - his loud belches & phobia about raw or expired foods
love- his body heat at night and his ability to make me laugh in every situation.0 -
not to sound to cliche for this website, but what bothers me the most is the way he eats, horribly, frozen burritos are not a food group., he also nibbles my ear, he things i like , don't have the heart to tell him i don't
things i like, despite his food ideas, he is very supportive of mine, and also the little things he tries to do to try and please me , and that he will put my wants first alot when technically his should0
