Entering new recipes using website using "recent", "frequent" and "my foods" instead of the database

If I click on "Enter a Recipe" then click on "Add Ingredient", I'm directed to "Search our food database by name".

Is there a way we can add/create a new recipe on the website that allows us the option to select foods from my "recent" foods list, my "frequent" foods list or "my foods" lists instead of just the "database"?

Hunting for foods in the database takes so much time!

If there is a way to do that I’ve never found it, but I agree it would be helpful! Pretty sure it can’t be done.

It’s frustrating when you know how long it took to find an accurate entry with a gram option in the serving size and you know that ‘perfect’ entry is in your ‘recent’ list but you have to do the same tedious search again!

Seconded everything @BarbaraHelen2013 said. It would be great if we could search those lists for ingredients in recipes.

Being that I'm new to MyFitnessPal, I just found in one of the answers to the FAQ on how to enter a recipe that "You will not be able to use items from your recent/frequent/my foods list"!! I sure hope eventually we WILL be able to do this. I switched to MyFitnessPal to track food because the food tracker I've been using is closing down. Tracking food is time-consuming enough but not being able to select items from my recent/frequent/my foods list is a strong reason to discourage me not to track food. So how about it? I submitted a request for this and for them to allow us to be able to build a list of "Favorites" foods that we we use occasionally that don't show up in the "recent" or "frequent" lists. Hopefully they can do this for us!!
