What elementary school teachers tell you doesn't necessarily mean a lot. I mean, if you're tone-deaf, that's one thing, but even that can be overcome (to a degree) with enough training.

My elementary music teacher used to tell me to "sing like everyone else"... 18 years or so later, and I'm a classically trained soprano. :)

Would this not ruin vacations though? Not only is it now your job, I think what makes vacation so satisfying is that it is like a reward for working. Without the reward it all would seem pretty vain and pointless. What if you need a vacation away from your vacation tester job...Might be overthinking it lol

I’m retired. My life is a vacation. I’d like to go back to work— maybe 3 days a year would be about right. Or a job I could do while on vacation.

I did really want to be a pop star or singer of some sort since forever. Just not entirely sure if fame is actually cool anymore but I think making a good living off of artistic ability is super cool. Being a part of a musical production, yesssss.

Retired princess... but, that didn't work out so well for Megan Markel.

So, I guess I'll just stick with my hair job.

    Well, dream job in retirement?

I taught aerobics as a teen & into my early 20s, as a side job. Would enjoy being an exercise/stretching instructor for seniors... a bit of yoga & pilatus moves thrown in. Since I'll be a senior myself at that time, it would be a good way to get in my workout, while also earning a bit of pocket cash.

If I lived in/near a wealthy 'hood of retirees with expendable income, I could turn it into a $$$$ gimmicky exercise class & be livin' the $$dream$$, like those oddballs who do yoga with goats on their backs, or ah... butts.

Since I'm fresh outta goats & it will be easier to wrangle felines down the line... maybe Backpack Cat Calisthenics & Hiking Club(TM)?

Or, maybe I'll skip the middleman & just do CatPack Day Hikes(TM)... easier clientele & big bucks!
