Hi folks,
I was just wondering, for those further along in their fitness journey and a similar starting weight, when did you start noticing weight loss? I'm down 11lbs from my starting and I don't notice any difference. Please share when you started to visually notice the change. I know I'm only 8.09% into my journey but I could use some info from others. Thank you.

That's awesome! I'm starting my weight loss journey as well I've lost weight in the past but I've never seemed to be able to keep it off, I wish you the best of luck and would love to hear updates, I apologize for the lack of advice I have to offer tho lol.1

I get how that is, I've found in the past that it's super important to recenter your relationship with food. I have a pretty unhealthy relationship myself but I'm working on it.0 -
I'm about 30 lbs down from SW (~250ish, was 220 and change at last weigh-in). I started getting comments around the -15lb mark, although I also don't talk much about my weight loss journey with people in meatspace, so I don't know if people noticed sooner and just didn't say anything to me about it. I can see a difference, in my face especially, when I look at a picture from 6 months ago vs a selfie from 6 seconds ago, but it's harder to see in the mirror. I think the key is to have multiple sources of data - take measurements in addition to stepping on the scale, pay attention to how clothes are fitting (and maybe try something on from your "someday" pile - don't we all have clothes that fit X lbs ago that we hold onto in hopes of fitting into it again someday?), take progress photos. Progress photos is something I regret not doing for these first 30 lbs but I also keep forgetting to take them LMAO.1

I started at 271 and didn't really start noticing the changes until about 20 lbs down. I found comparing pictures to be the most helpful because I didn't notice the small changes in the mirror day to day. I am 54lbs down now and still going!2
