Maybe to improve it?
Maybe to make it more secure?

    Spend some time getting rid of duplicate and obviously incorrect food data items in the dictionary.

    Provide more descriptive error messages to the user when something isn't available or working correctly. Ideally, indicate if it's a known issue which is being addressed by developers.

    Perhaps let you track body measurements and graph them over time along with weight. Perhaps combine that with tracking certain personal bests in exercise over time.
