Toning the sides...

The fat on my body is mainly in my midsection area and it is just enough to get to me. Even if I really get in shape, I still have that problem area. Especially on my hips..does anyone know of any good exercises to do to get rid of and tone this area?

i used to have love handles and a rolly polly olly tummy
i do 300 crunchs on each side 5days a week
so 300 laying lay on my back
and 300 laying flat on my back but my legs to the right of me
and also 300 laying flat on my back but my legs to the left of me

I have the same issue with the midsection ( I have dubbed it "the final frontier") but I found that stepping up my cardio really slimmed my hips and thighs. In the past few months I've gone from about a 6.5 mph pace on the treadmill to an 8 mph pace for 30 minutes. Sometimes just good ol' fashioned running does the trick!0

In addition to cardio pilates has done great things for toning that area of my body!0

I'm having trouble with that too. I've been using the exercises in Seveteen Magazine. They help really well, if I would just stick to it.
Anyone else use exercises out of magazines?0
