Today is the first day in a long time I walked more than 30,000 steps22

Not eating any fast food today. It's a huge victory, especially for me, on the weekends to stay away from ff. I've lost 67 lbs since October now. Just have to keep on making the right decisions every day.22

Looking leaner and seeing my abs come in and more definition in my arms.12

I taught the young dog to catch a rigid disc. Look, it's going to lead to human component playing more disc, too, since another dog is now all in. That's fitness related.13 -
I went out in public like this today and felt... perfectly fine and not self-conscious at all. Never thought I'd ever, ever, see the day that happened.

I walked 1.49 miles today. Furthest I've gone all year.

Last night I had a slight pain on my inner thigh, where I get (delightful) pimples. I reached to check it--and reached the spot easily, which is new. I also realized that instead of my thigh being round, there was a definite FOLD. I'm getting saggy!17

I have so much more energy and better sleep13

Getting compliments on my weight loss (50 lbs down ) and I'm down another pants size.17

Decided I needed a challenge before I turned 51. So woke up and jogged from my house, to the lake, around the lake, and back home. I turned 51 on 6/30 at 3:37 pm. Woke up early and got it done…
I did have wife on speed dial in case I needed a lift.30 -
I'm now wearing a 34 band on the tightest set of hooks. Guess I need to start sourcing a 32 band!11

Being told I was inspiration for someone else to get started on their own healthy habits! It made me cry.28

I'm finally staying within my calorie range without feeling like binge eating things! I feel like I have control over what I eat, instead of food having control over me! That in itself feels great.29

Had my annual med check yesterday. BP: 100/60. Even at my heaviest, I never had blood pressure issues; but 80 lbs. ago, I was in high normal territory.17

June was a bad month diet wise- lots of stress and boredom eating so as a result I gained 2 kgs. Frustrated I consulted with a dietitian. I mean I eat healthy but I overeat as I fear that I will faint if my tummy is not full. The dietitian made a few changes so I am eating less but I don't feel like I'm gonna pass out. That is very big achievement for me as that fear was stalling my weight loss goals. I feel very satisfied on that diet!!❣️❣️❣️😘😘👍18

When you stroll past a mirror and have to do a doubletake and ask, "Umm, who is that?" Liking what you see after periods of not feeling moved by it is the greatest NSV.19

Went to a Ninja gym with my sons this weekend and felt capable and strong on a few of the obstacles that looked rather intimidating at first.

I was at the gym today and at some point I thought to myself "I really like being here".
I was very sedentary for most of my adult life and the mere thought of exercise would put me in a bad mood. If someone had told me one day I'd join a gym and actually enjoy it, I would have shaken my head and call them crazy.31 -
I have an old pair of favorite shorts from years ago. One of my long term goals was to be able to wear them again. Today was the day and they fit! I'm super duper happy!31

Snuggled up in an old favorite sweatshirt I got my sophomore year of college last night (I’m 31). It doesn’t quite fit the way it did then yet, but it’s definitely not too small anymore!17

First gym session post covid. It really took it out of me and I was both nervous and cautious about returning. It might be a while before I’m back doing 70kg deadlifts but I’m back doing something19

I took a stand up paddle board class this weekend. I’ve never been on a paddle board before, but I have always wanted to learn. I had to stay seated for the majority of the class due to windy/choppy conditions on the lake, but I learned the correct paddle strokes and was able to get around on the lake. I count it as a victory.20

Completed a 3.6 mile hike in the mountains with my sister today. We are adding a little at a time each week. I also took an adult swim lesson on Friday. I know how to swim, but I plan to start doing laps and just wanted to make sure I was confident in the water and doing the strokes the right way. I can't wait to try my first lap session this week!18

Tightened my watch strap another notch today to stop it sliding around.20
