                    Hey All
I'm trying my best to figure out my PROTEIN/CARB/FAT PERCENTAGES, which will keep me on my path.
I've never been good at figuring out how many calories I need, etc. CAN SOMEONE HELP??
I want to start slow and build success, so I'm looking at trying to lose 1 pound a week. What should my calorie intake be at, along with my macros?
Thanks all!

There's a lot of great info in the "Most Helpful Threads" sections of the subforums.

Just use the defaults for now. They are fine. For understanding the calories: https://support.myfitnesspal.com/hc/en-us/articles/360032625391-How-does-MyFitnessPal-calculate-my-initial-goals-4

            Calories are king.
I found worrying about macros to be overwhelming and intimidating, and I still do, even this late into the game.
I focused on eating better, and then eating better quality for my calorie budget.
One thing that really helped me was changing my macro view to “weekly” instead of “daily”. I discovered that while my macros yo-yo each day, looking at the weekly average, they were surprisingly good. So once every week or two I check the seven day average.
That gave me room to breath and resume focus on the calories.
Did I mention that calories are king?
Holler here if you still need help calculating calorie goal.1
