ONE POINT EIGHT POUNDS. That is what I need to see 199.8 on my scale. This week my goal is to eat smart, stay hydrated, and say GOOD-BYE to anything on the scale that starts with a 2 -- FOREVER. ...and I'll probably cry a little too.28

My goal is to get my heart out of A Fib and lose another 75 pounds. Oh yeah, and maybe stay alive another year. Also, to keep exploring the wonders of the Mediterranean Diet.19

I now have 2.8lb to go to my mini goal! It's so close I can taste it. I am hoping to reach this before I go on vacation next month. Fingers crossed9

I have recently stopped eating between meals. This has been a bad habit of mine that holds me back from my losses. I'm only 1.5 weeks into this but every day I succeed is one day closer to forming a new habit. The trick for me was to learn how much to eat to hold me until my next scheduled meal.15

I had a routine appointment with a new GP yesterday. I'm currently still on a BP med and a statin, even though over the last three years I lost weight (normal BMI now) and stopped being sedentary.
She said that, because I don't have a lot more weight to lose, it would be very unlikely that I'd be able to stop those meds EVER, which was a major letdown. Especially considering my BP is now normal and so are my blood test results. Granted, part of that success is due to the drugs, but still.
I know that, in spite of my progress so far, there's still lots of room to improve my nutrition and my exercise. (Basically, I'm determined to prove her wrong.) In order to achieve that major goal, my mini-goal from now on will be to make adjustments to consistently improve my health.13 -
Mini goal: To lose a minimum of 1 pound per week until August 20. That's when I will see my son and family for the first time in 2 years. When I meet my goal, I will have lost about 12 pounds. I'm hoping my daughter-in-law will notice - doubtful my son will. That's OK - I will know.8

My mini goal is to see better numbers on my labs this time around. I go in a few months and I hope losing a few pounds (still have 100+ to go) and going to the gym doing both cardio and strength training 5-6 days a week will help. I am currently on a low dose bp med that I would love to get off of, my triglycerides were high, and my glucose was showing prediabetic during an emergency blood draw. I have actual weight goals, too, but this is my most important mini goal for me at the moment.6

I am only 6.6 pounds away from being the lowest weight I've been in almost 5 years! Once I hit that number, every lower number thereafter is in a way, uncharted water. I'm so excited! It's been such a long, hard journey but I'm finally back in a range that makes me feel hopeful about the future.13

Eating enough to make it through an entire shift at work without experiencing a hypogylcemic episode.8

I'm 6 pounds away from being out of the 200's. I haven't been under 200 since I was 14. (40 years ago)21

My mini goal is to get down to 168lbs (12 stones) just because it’s a round number. I’m 5.5lbs away so given the slow rate of loss I’m setting myself now, will take a while. Going to settle in and just celebrate the unexpected victories, such as fitting into long-forgotten dresses and being shocked when I look in the mirror at how much slimmer my face looks.12

My next goal is to get under 130kg. Currently at 133kg.8

Mini goal was to breakthrough a plateau lasting 3 months. ✅ Unfortunately we are experiencing a lot of smokey air due to the forest fire situation blowing over from British Columbia, so I was forced to go walking in the largest mall/entertainment complex in North America. So that means I had to increase my walking steps to walk all of the mall upstairs and downstairs.
The increased activity resulted in a breakthrough of the plateau. Still mindful of my eating and working on the last 8#s.8 -
My current mini-goal is to get below 240#, at which point I will be lighter than a guy I'm dating now at 55, who I also dated in my twenties, has ever, EVER seen me! That is 4.3# away. Then I have a chair with a claimed weight limit of 225#, so that's next, then when I hit 219# I will be literally HALF the woman I once was...and so on, and so on.17

Getting to 52lbs lost on Sept 30th to average 1lb a week for a year. Just have 7lbs to go in 10 weeks.21
-
To get below a 40 BMI. It's currently 41.9 and I need to lose 13lbs to get to under 40BMI.14
-
Down to 241. which is 55 pounds below where I started at 296! Now for the nice round number of 240... come on....17
-
I'm doing quick videos for every 10lb loss, to have a record if I want to over eat again, and I'm 4lbs away from next one.12
-

10 more lbs. Then I will be half off. Then I want to have the guts to make a tee saying "half off day. March 2019 566 pounds, today 283 pounds." Then everywhere I go that day I want to ask for half off on an item I buy and accept whatever answer they give with the biggest smile.28
