High cholesterol

Hi. Any helpful tips for someone with high cholesterol and not taking medication

    Follow your doctor's suggestions, do regular bloodworm to track your progress, consider a nutritionist...and then reap the health rewards that go way beyond cholesterol improvement about two years later.

    Hopefully it takes less time for you 😉 Even if it doesn't, it's better on this side, my friend.

    In my mind, a daily statin was just NOT an option for me 🙅🏿‍♀️ Not yet, seeing as a part of my cholesterol challenge was fixable via lifestyle mods (there seems to be a genetic component too, which I'm stuck with).

    I would suggest exercise and following a Heart Healthy Diet.

    Just losing weight took mine from high to solidly in the normal range, but I don't think I have much in the way of genetic predispositions. (Weight loss also normalized my high triglycerides and high blood pressure.)
