Best of luck. I find when you are good, and honest, about tracking foods it seems easier.0

You don't need luck, you need discipline. You are fully in control of this process, and it's up to you to continue to make the choices that serve your long-term goals and needs. You've already made the first choice - to reduce your calorie intake - so, well done!
The key to success, though, is continuing to make those beneficial choices, even--and especially--when you don't want to. And at some point, you won't want to. You'll be tired, or sick/injured, or on vacation, or stressed out, or just plain Over It in regards to counting calories (because yeah, it can get tedious). The key in that moment is to choose yourself. Choose to prioritize your health. Choose to Do The Thing, even if opening up this app and logging your food sounds like the most boring and terrible use of the next three minutes of your time that you can think of. Choose to be honest with yourself, even when it's been a horrible terrible no-good very bad day and you've eaten every gram of chocolate in the tri-state area and way overshot your calorie budget. Stay honest and faithful to your food diary and trust the process and you will see results.
You can do it.0
