You need to be more patient and look at the long term trend.
Losing one lb a day is not something that will (or should) happen long-term.
You should aim to lose max. 0.5-1% of your bodyweight per week, and even then you won't lose weight every day or every week, ups and downs are normal.

So-called cheat days tend to cause immediate water weight gain of several pounds, and *maybe* some fat gain, but usually not so much that it takes a long time to lose. For up to a week or two, the water weight hangs around, hides fat loss on the bodyweight scale.

If you haven't yet, read this:

And you might enjoy my personal account of a cheat weekend and aftermath, as an example of water weight and fat changes:

If you're going to have so-called cheat days, you'll want to learn how to deal with the water weight roller-coaster on the scale, or you'll drive yourself over a cliff, psychologically.

BTW: Unless you weigh around 700 pounds, losing a pound a day is losing unsustainably fast. It wouldn't be healthy, and it probably wouldn't be possible to continue for long. Don't aim for or expect that.
