WOW!! Is it possible?? It looks like we KICKED BOOOOOTY last week! Unless there are some big numbers that come in... CONGRATS PINK PANTHER LADIES!! I think we won last week!
My personal challenge for everyone (myself included, cause I need a good kick in the *kitten*! ) is that we each look at our total points for last week and that we each meet or beat that number! I am gonna have some work to do in order to reach that goal for myself, but, I am gonna try! My HRM has been "yelling" at me about needing a recovery week - which means (it seems) that I need to stay out of zone three. It's hard to stay in one and two... but so far, less than 5 minutes in zone 3! I am hopeful that it will count that for my recovery week so I can move on to the next challenge it presents! So, tomorrow, I have to NOT do the becoming traditional Triathalon Saturday... but I plan to get in lots of biking and maybe a light jog. I don't think my week ends until Sunday at midnight. Which means my weekend workouts have to be low intensity... :grumble: I'm not real happy about that!
Anyway - points for today for me... I am back and on track - (sorry about the last couple days, but I was pretty frustrated!) so here's the low down for my day!
Nutrition - Nope, darn it! I thought it was sodium! :ohwell:
Exercise - Danced at the game, a lot! So count it!
Cardio - 82 minutes, baby! YAY! Felt SO good to be back at the gym...

hmmmm... seems like we are reverting back to a much quieter group! :huh: I hope that it's just due to the weekend, and nothin' else! I know that my last part of last week was long, tiring and, well, I was a bit crabby. I hate that despite my best efforts, a number on a scale was determining my mood. I did go down, by a 0.2, but it was down. I need to celebrate that and realize that it most likely is due to the working out and muscle conversion. I "knew" this but still felt frustrated... but my new week started on Friday and I am ready to go! I was worried, because I thought that with my couple days of no points I may have killed our points... but it appears to me that there's a really, really good chance that we won! And, if I was on the blue team - I'd be MAAAAAAD! They had a great week and probably didn't even realize that they should worry about the Pink Team! LOL. :bigsmile:
So, I think I had said that my HRM is "yelling" at me about needing a recovery week. Meaning I didn't really think I'd be able to accomplish or do much at the gym today. But, I am happy to report I was wrong. I think this is due much in part to the improvement in my cardiovascular health! I was able to really "control" my HR by slowing down or decreasing the crossbar/resistance, etc. I was able to spend a lot of time at the gym because I was moving slower to keep the HR down. Figured that not only was I getting in my miles for my Triathalon challenge, but I was also getting in minutes for us! Figure, I kinda need to make up for my crabby days... :blushing:
Nutrition Challenge - Yep, I did it. Was worried, thinking it was the protein one but I was below Calories so YAY!
Exercise Challenge - Nope, sorry... laid down for a 20 min nap and woke up 4 hrs later. Woops!
Cardio - YAY for my 206 minutes... can't believe it and am particularly proud today!
Total Points = 105, I believe

Perhaps - seeing what we are doing will help motivate us to do more or to continue where we are at?!? What do you all think? (of note, and I don't know that everyone is aiming for "winning" and that's OK because this LTL challenge helps us all to move more and focus on nutrition, but, each week it takes more than 2,000 points to win. That means we need to average of 250 points per day if we want to win, figuring that we get the full 525 on rest day)

sorry i have been kinda MIA lately...have out of town visitors. i have still been popping on and sending in points.. i will get back on in a little bit and send in the last couple days. i have been doing my exercising too yesterday wasn't so good. went to a birthday party/cookout. i didn't get too out of control, but it wasn't great. so far today i have been back on track with my eating and exercise though. looks like you girls are doing awesome!!!!0

Nutrition - I was outside in the heat all day today so I barely ate anything. I didn't even come close to 90% of my protein. Sorry

I just sat here and ate the heck out of protein and still didn't make it... Frustrated about this and need to sort that out! Didn't make it to the gym and didn't even attempt the exercise, I am just too confused. How many were we supposed to do? Sorry, but I am tired and must be a little crabby based upon what I just typed, who knew?!? Anyway - hope my points from yesterday keep you happy with me because I missed out on any today! Sorry!

just checking in. Sorry I havent done very well the last week. I havent felt good since wednesday. I thought maybe it was a virus but now I think maybe it is just irritable bowel syndrome and my fibromyalgia acting up. It makes it really hard to do much of anything when i am spending all my time on the toilet and in severe pain. i finally went and got some immodium ad so i hope this helps.sorry if this is too much info.....

hi everyone!!! i am here looks like everyone has gotten kinda quiet. well, i made up for my weekend yesterday!! got lots of cardio and ate well saturday i ate way to much, or maybe just too much of the wrong things. but yesterday i got on the wii, and i got out of the house and went walking. it wasn't as cool as i like it to be, but i got out......
ok, i guess we will have tuesday as our rest day this week. hope that is ok with everyone you girls are doing great. we are coming into the home stretch now girls. i hope we get to win a week. that would be so awesome!!!

I had planned my week with today as my rest day, so I didn't have a lot of time for a workout, but I did get 40 minutes in. It does work well because I found out I have to work 12 hours tomorrow so that will have to be a rest day.

I know it is rest day but me and the family took the dogs for a walk along the river after dinner. It was so nice out. The sun was setting and it was starting to cool off. We saw a skunk too.
