How often do you weigh yourself?

I weigh myself on my home scale basically every time I pass it just for sheets and giggles. It's the crappiest scale I've ever had. I decided I'm only going to record weight loss in 3-5lb increments as long as I'm using that scale just because it can vary so widely.0

I am realy bad about weighing myself. I usually weight at least twice, maybe even three times. When I wake up, before I get in the shower and before i put on my pajamas. I've even tried hiding my scale, but it never works. I know we shouldn't be controlled by the numbers, but it's hard not to be. I heard you are only supossed to weight yourself once a week... Where's the fun and guilt tripping in that??? LOL0

I weigh every morning and will log it on here if there is a loss. I'll only log a gain if I've gained for at least a week or so.
It works for me0 -
Every morning and night to see how things effect me0

I am what my Dr. calls a scale *kitten*! I weigh myself every morning around the same time. It's like clock work. Get up use the bathroom, grab the scale and see what it has to say!
I can keep track of what my body is doing. If I happen to gain a few ounces I look back at my diary to see if it was due to sodium or not enough water. It works for me. I feel this helps keep me accountable!
I have worked very hard to achieve the results I have had thus far. I do not want to slide back into my old ways!!!0 -
too often! I only log if there is a loss registered, otherwise I get disheartened with the progress line going up and down, just wanna see down0

I weigh myself everyday just after I pee and just before I shower I only update my weight on here if I go down (generally).
I don't get upset if I see it go up, really, because I know it's just water. If I go up 2lb in a day, it HAS to be water because there's no way I've ever overeaten by 7000 calories in ONE DAY, and a pound is roughly 3500. So I don't let it make me sad.0 -
Daily, simply because I don't have the patience to weigh weekly, and I don't want to hit the weekly weigh-in on a day I've spiked up. I swing up and down 4 lbs pretty easily. As long as the long-term trends are downward we're good.0

Once a week.
I would be totally neurotic if I did more than that, and I'm already crazy with calorie counting, we don't need to add any more :-)0 -
I weigh myself everyday in the morning with official weigh ins on Saturday mornings. My daily weigh ins are just a check to see if I did any major damage - if they are within 3lbs of my Saturday morning weigh in all is good otherwise I look over my last few days food choices and figure out if I had a lot of sodium I didn't notice or something. I don't even remember what the scale said this morning - I know it was in the ok range.
I weigh on Saturday mornings because I still watch calories on Saturday but I'm more likely to eat back my exercise calories and eat more sodium.
*edit to fix typo0 -
I weigh myself daily to track my progress and how certain foods and activities affect me, but I consider my Monday morning weigh-in to be the one I count. I make it Monday so that I can keep myself on track over the weekends.0

I joined here on Sept 1, I told myself I wouldn't weigh myself until Oct 1. I've seen the scale fluctuate so much in a day so I think giving it that amount of time will give me a real estimate on if I have maintained (my goal... eat better anddon't gain! I was on a slow and steady gaining streak when I was down and unemployed) The wait is killing me, though, lol!0

my weigh in day is monday before i walk my dogs, but recently i've started weighing/checking body fat percentage daily. It's neat to see how much it really fluctuates daily.0

I weight myself once a week with a scale that has a bmi sensor in the feet to it so I can check the weight as well as fat amount detected. I am happiest when I see both have gone done. Losing the weight is great as well, especially when I was over 300 pounds a month or 2 ago before I started coming on here. I just recently started tracking the food and workouts so I can see how I am doing in those areas0

I weigh daily, a couple times a day, first thing in the morning and later in the evening. I like to know what my body is up to and see how foods and exercise are sitting with me. I only count official weigh-ins on Thursday mornings, and that is when I record my progress on MFP. The daily weighing is just out of curiosity and to see what is up. I don't let it discourage me as its easy to fluctuate + or - several pounds a day, throughout the day.
I do the same- glad I'm not alone! I don't count any of the weigh-ins besides my "official" one on Friday mornings, but I am curious all the time what the scale says after certain activities and foods!0
