I have started to like mine frozen:happy: sometimes with a smear of peanut butter.0

I like my bananas green!
I don't like them to be too soft or spotty. I've read that the greener a banana is, the lower glycemic index it has. But to me, they just taste better with a little bit of green!0 -
I like mine when they are first yellow - no brown and are yummy in a bowl of raisin bran.0
-
I like them when they're ripe. I slice them up and either put them with oatmeal or with peanut butter and crackers.0

Yes! Frozen is so good! And a really good way to eat frozen bananas is smashed with a couple tbsp of chocolate chips and a couple chopped walnuts! It tastes JUST like Ben and Jerry's Chunky Monkey ice cream!0 -

I like them when they're really yellow with lots of brown spots. Sometimes I'll eat them raw but most of the time I'll blend 3-6 bananas, put them in a tupperware container and freeze for 4-5 hours before eating.0

mine have to have green on them!!!0

I don't think this applies to the topic but i'm 41 years old and I just ate my first banana.
It was pretty good0 -

I like mine a little bit green too! I don't like it when they get all smushy :sick:0 -
I like 'em yellow. They taste better to me at that point. But I can't let 'em sit there for too long or else they go brown. That's no problem though, they rarely last long around me.0

I like mine a little green, if they have any brown spots I can't eat them. I've never frozen bananas, do you peel them before putting them in the freezer? Do you let them thaw a little before you eat them? Would like to try, sounds yummy!0 -
i actually cant stand them xD0

I Like Bananas anyway I can get them. Peanut butter, yellow and with dots on them. I'm not picky honestly.0

Wow that is so awesome! well honestly i am not a big fan of bananas, i could go w/out ever eating them!!!! :-)0 -
I like mine bright yellow, just before they go brown. I still like the flavor of brown bananas, but the mushy texture kind of gets to me. Green=no way! I love bananas in oatmeal, such a great natural sweetener!0

They taste the best when they are brown and ripe. That is when I like to add them to my morning smoothie0
-
I hate polka dot, brown bananas! I like them right after the green has gone from the peel and they are sill very firm in texture.0
-
I like mine when the peel just turned yellow and even with a hint of green. The flavor and consistency is just right. Any hint of brown and I throw them away b/c I HATE the mushiness.0
-
i like bananas half ripe (should taste more tangy than sweet)0
-
Just turned yellow, not to hard but no brown spots. If they get soft they end up as banana bread or muffins.0
-
LOL That's what I was thinking too!
That s**t's bananas, b - a - n - a - n - a - s0 -
I eat a banana mostly every day with breakfast. Love 'em with peanut butter and oatmeal.0
-
Softish and in custard. Lots of custard.0

My husband likes them when still firm just starting to turn yellow...I like them alright that way, but I really rarely eat them alone, unless they are frozen . I always have them with something else like in cereal, frozen and in my smoothie or with chocolate or peanut butter. frozen wit a few other favorite flavors added makes a marvelous substitute for ice cream, and they really make a smoothie nice and smooth..................0

I love bananas any way I can get my hands on them............. since the floods here in Australia they have been sooooo expensive but was thrilled to be able to buy a couple the other day.0
-
I usually buy them really green from the store then wait until they are good and spotty. They ripen so quickly I usually end up chopping and freezing most of them to add to smoothies.0
-
Ohhhh Ursy...I think I might try the way you do the bananas...That sounds good to me...0
