Went back to the store where I'd had the panic attack in the dressing room and bought those darned pants!!!48

Yesterday I had to tie the drawstring of my favorite pants to keep them on! A sad moment as I love them, but a joyous moment because YAY!20

I plan on sewing shorter elastic into all my favorites once I reach goal.
Well, done on the NSV.

I came back after a diet break, and said diet break wasn't a foodtastic free for all. Considering the fact that the diet break wasn't planned out and consisted of me eating at maintenance or maybe a little above and not exercising as much for four whole days, Old Me would have given up at that point and decided I was a failure. Even though I am still a little worn down and work is still going to be nuts, continuing my progress is important enough that New Me is right back on the active weight loss train.
This is important to me because I'm really, super good at giving up, and so continuing my losses (instead of calling 150 pounds Good Enough) is a win. I will call it Good Enough when my belly isn't sticking out.33 -
The next size down in scrubs is still baggy.19

@BrightEyedAgain I have a-lot of emotions bubbling up at each weight. For weeks, I would not let myself lose anymore weight because of fear of regaining. And I also freaked out big time when I started wearing size 4 and 2/4 pants. How could I fit into that size! That was smaller than the 6s worn the last time I lost. Now I am not letting myself get hung up on the numbers and weigh below the numbers that I had mental hang ups on. It is a new page to write.14

That's great advice, thanks! And I'm glad I'm not the only one. Today's been much better. I realized part of my problem is feeling scattered because I don't know what fits and what doesn't in my closet. Again. I went through everything this Spring and really thought I wouldn't get much smaller. But, it's time to do another reorg and try stuff on again. I have a bunch of "too small" tubs from the past, and tonight I rediscovered several tops that made me smile. It brought up some good memories to balance out the bad ones. You're absolutely right--the number doesn't matter because I'm not that person anymore anyway. I just happen to be small enough to wear those sizes again. At the end of the day, they're just clothes. They're not who I am on the inside.22

Good for you!! A break is very different than stopping. It's like taking a nap when you've had several busy/long days.13 -
The scale hasn't moved since the end of March. However I've dropped one size in two different brands of pants!!!28

I'd be super excited to do either of those without ending up at the ER. LOL. Congratulations on doing both together!!!13 -
I was able to maintain at least 20s of alternate foot jump while skipping rope.17

I went shopping for new work clothes yesterday. Went for the size I have been wearing for a month or so and had to go back and get a smaller size!20

I started working from home in February and starting sitting all day. Last month, I decided to set my alarm to go off every hour from 9-4 and I would get up and move for five minutes. I just checked the calendar and realized that I've been doing it consistently for FIVE and a half weeks!!!32

The dress that I am wearing today has become a bit of an embarassing nuisance as the sleeve of the dress keeps falling off coz I've lost weight around my shoulders thanks to regular weight lifting. It's slightly infuriating17

Today, I became merely obese instead of morbidly obese!41

I could zip up a pair of size 16 cherokee jeans20

I beat the rain by a few seconds because I was strong enough to snatch up all my grocery bags in two hands and sprint to my car.18

Tried on a dress I had that I previously couldn't wear because it has buttons all the way down the front, and they gaped so badly! Fits perfectly now, nice and smooth with no gapes!25

I made some hummus pasta today (a victory in and of itself, since I've been a lazy cook lately lol) and decided to make some banana muffins for dessert, even though it put me a little over my calorie allotment. But, after I finished dinner, I realized I was full and didn't want a muffin! So, I'm drinking some ginger tea for dessert instead. ^_^23

I have two today -
1 - A t-shirt I have that was tight when I got it is now loose
2 - I touched my elbow to the same side knee! I have never even been close before, but today, I could do it!! I'm so excited!23 -
All my pants seem to be wide-leg style now.
Shirts that I liked but rarely wore because I didn't like how short they were, are heading towards too long. I have to pull them up to use my pockets now--and I have to be careful, because with some pants, putting my keys in my pocket will put my pants on the floor.23 -
Today, I replaced rice with sautéed cabbage. Just seasoned lightly with some butter, chicken broth, salt and pepper. I put a small scoop of rice on my plate just in case I didn’t like it, but I much preferred the cabbage. It was delicious! A great low carb option.27

I looked in the mirror and noticed I went from 3 chins down to 1.5 !29

Cheekbones!
Who knew they were hiding under there?!21 -
Today I noticed a pair of pants in my drawer that I never wear. I have like, two pair that are summer only, two that work both summer and winter, and two that are winter only. But there was another pair in there, that I had forgotten about.
I pulled them out and remembered--I bought two pair of cargo pants on clearance from my fave online big clothes place, and THEY DIDN'T FIT. But I'd lost weight before! So I made a deal with myself and kept one, donated one.
Today I am wearing them for the first time! Now I can choose which of my "wide-leg" pants are saggiest and stuff them in the donate bag!
And this weekend I'm going to dig out the tub of my very favorites that are the only things I saved last time I lost, and move something into my closet for the next time I just wannna see if I'll fit.23 -
Yesterday, I didn't like what the scale said. But I still met my other goals. I tracked everything and I exercised. I didn't say mean things to myself. That's a bigger victory than anything the scale says.30

I found a pair of shorts in my drawer and thought they were my husband's. I looked again and saw they were a pair of mine from last year, right about this time of year. Just to see, I set my newest pair of jeans on top of them. If you look closely, you'll see that there's 4 inches difference. I'm pretty happy with that.

I ate one bowl of cereal this morning. I used to eat at least four bowls at a time. But this morning, I measured out the cereal and the milk and ate ONE bowl. I eve poured out the remaining milk rather than drinking it.25
