trying to get wedding ready

Hi, i'm peri menopausal and trying to lose weight in 4-5 weeks. I'm eating up to 1200 calories a day, walking, skipping and stressing as my daughter is getting married in 6 weeks. Any tips and motivation as i've cut out bread, pasta, rice and potatoes and am not as bloated.... many thanks

realistically a stone and a bit - done 11lbs in two weeks so thats made a difference2

That’s a good amount of weight to lose in only 2 weeks, so what you’re doing so far must be working 👍🏻
The only thing that sometimes works for my bloating is lots of water and chewable antacids.

11lbs in two weeks is probably a lot of water weight and not fat loss, which can be common at the beginning of any big diet change. It can be very motivating to see at first, but don't be surprised if things slow down, possibly by quite a lot, in the next couple of weeks. You still haven't said your current weight, but 14+ in six weeks is a tall order and not realistic for most people, despite what magazine covers might promise.
I would definitely encourage you to eat well to help manage wedding stress and so you can have enough energy to do all those last minute tasks and help your daughter. But crash dieting is likely to make you more stressed and tired, not less. If you enjoy eating low carb then definitely continue doing that. Weight loss will happen if your body uses more calories than you eat, and if you want to keep it off long term I'd recommend not trying to squeeze it all in now. It won't be the end of the world if you're not at goal weight in the wedding photos. Hopefully there will be many more opportunities for photos with your new expanded family in the future!
