Question About Nipples - For MALES (Believe it or Not)

I'm a little concerned that they're bleeding at all!
It's actually a common thing with male runners. I was reading up on some running things a couple days ago and randomly came across an article about males with bleeding nipples from running (was a bit awkward to read but was like an accident - I couldn't look away). They said what everyone here has said - Body Glide.
Oh, great was this awkward for everybody to read???
Seriously though, thanks for the suggestions. I'm getting some Body Glide and better band aids today!0 -
What type of shirt are you wearing? Cotton t-shirts are not the best. Try a sports type fabric like UnderArmor or a nylon.0

what about pit stick? I know for my thunder thighs, i put pit stick on em and it prevents chaffing (lmfao sorry, I'm chubby)0

I actually get really good mileage out of paper tape. You can buy a roll in the drug store for a couple dollars. I criss-cross 2 strips over each nipple and I'm good to go. I have had success with the tape staying on for up to 18 miles (3.5 hours). And I run in Hawaii and sweat A LOT so that is saying something.0

Had this problem a month ago. I use band-aids mostly and body glide if I don't have band aids. Cotton shirts are a killer- it has not been an issue since I started using shirts that wick well.0

Stick with bandaids, but get the higher quality ones. Like the ones that are more fabricy feeling rather than the flimsy ones. I use them and they have never fallen off. Kind of hurt to take off at the end though, haha.0

vaseline works for my husband as does body glide- and it saves me a lot of work on the laundry as well as I no longer have to scrub out bloody streaks from his shirts0

Try mole skin. Dr. Scholls makes it.
That will slip off with sweat, too.
What about that stuff for friction? I don't know what it's called, but I've seen it in sporting good stores. You put it on your thighs or watever skin might rub together and it keeps you from getting a friction burn. Might work on nipples.0 -
Body Glide works great for shorter runs. Personally, once the miles hit double digits I go with bandaids (or as little as 4 miles if it is raining). You said bandaids did not work, they do make Nip Guards (found in running stores), which is basically like a Dr. Scholls corn cushion with a cover over the center - AWESOME!!! Do not go with cotton as it does not wick the moisture away like a technical fabric.0

hi there i know they sell it over here (uk) not sure if they sell in where you are tho, it's called micropore tape it's used more for medical stuff but sticks to sh@t on a blanket!! but is really delicate to pull off at the same time!
they sell it in out chemists...0
