Joining as a Spark People Orphan...

Hi All! I am just starting here using Spark People for decades. I like it but miss ALL the micronutrient tracking. There are so few listed on here. I do like some things better here though. Looking to really up my nutrition for optimal health. I have a VERY sluggish metabolism, and need to stay under 1200 to lose any weight. Is there an app to add very low cal meals here via sharing your meals with others? Thanks!

    I don't know of any apps but I can relate to having to stay under 1200 calories. UHHGHH. My best friend is much taller than me and she can eat 1600 calories and LOSE weight. ARGH!

    Go to the top if your page, click on my home, then goals. There you can change your daily calorie goal. Hope this helps.

    Hello. Former Spark People person here.

    You don’t have to hit your calorie goal as it is set on MFP. It just won’t show others you closed your diary and give you the pop up “in five weeks…” message.

    That said, Please don’t go too low. And always, of course, consult your own doctor for low calorie guidance.
