I can't keep up with the multiple chats about the name so I wanted to simplify the name chat...


I like Tail Spin... because we cause it when we fly by...

or something... but list what you like and/or dont like...

    Good idea...I was getting confused too!

    When you swing the Tail Spin concept that way, it works.

    Tail Spin was actually a cartoon in the 90's on the WB. I used to watch it when I was in elementary school. It had this one character that would like jump out of a plane and air surf or something in the opening credits..... i'm gonna search for the video if i can find it.

    what about a play on those stealth planes that always do fly-overs at special events. Or a chopper/helicopter.....doesn't need to be planes i guess. Could make a bird reference. I'm terrible at coming up with names :o\

    What are those bomb plane things.... something about bombing the weight ... or something...

    Terminators!! We terminate the calories... and the competition!

    Hele-choppers-- we chop the fat/calories/competition, etc...

    Stealth Bombers...

    hi everyone! i'm excited to be on a team with you all (: i'm glad i'm not the only one that thought of the cartoon when i saw tail spin come up, lol.

    so far i really like sonic boom for some reason. but if everybody is doing planes as their method of transportation we could always be different and out there and go with like a.. time machine. or jet packs. or a flying car like in harry potter. or! something random and weird like a unicorn or dragon, lol. i don't even know, just throwing random flying things out there. those aren't really team names, though, so, i don't know how helpful i'm being. so i'll just stop now, hahaha.

    Superheros? Paper airplanes? Bottle rockets? Bullets? Missiles? Space shuttles? Frisbees? Shuttlecocks? LOL

    Falcore!! I love The Neverending Story... I saw it on a discount rack a few months back and had to buy it!

    Great job on posting topic.......hmm.. I like the SonicBoom... Time Warp is cool too.. makes me think of Rocky Horror Picture Show (anyone old enough to remember when they showed it at midnight on the weekends in the theater?)....

    Honestly, I think the paper airplane idea is really cute.

    I have this paper airplane book for my students at school and here are some of the names of the planes they show you how to make....thought it might help trigger ideas...

    Headhunter
    Swashbuckler
    The Hammer
    Flying Ninja
    Space Cruiser
    The Hurricane

    Was doing all this silly research on fighter planes and what not and I came up with Flab Fighter Pilots....wasn't sure if I liked it or not.
