Does anyone know any specific exercises to help you get of tummy fat or is it just exercises and diet. I have been battling to exercise lately as well.

Fat isn't contractile tissue - you can't target it, it's an energy store for all of your bodyβs energy needs.
Think of it like the electricity in a battery, you can't choose to use the power from one part of that battery.
You can target areas of your body to work muscles but that isn't pulling energy from the surrounding bodyfat.
The primary and fastest way to lose bodyfat (from all over) is being in a calorie deficit and your exercise is a minor player in that balance. If you use MFP as designed it's not even supposed to contribute to your calorie deficit to emphasise that exercise is for life and not for weight loss - for health, fitness and enjoyment.

Agree with @sijomial. You can't 'spot reduce' and the stomach is usually the last place for you to notice a difference. For me, it's definitely being in a calorie deficit that makes me maintain my weight.
I exercise daily and even though I run ultra marathons, it's all about diet for me. I don't eliminate any food groups but I do make sure I get as many nutrients I can from what I do eat. It's about eating in moderation and being mindful of portion control.
Re: "I have been battling to exercise daily as well" - I'm not sure of your circumstances, but maybe go for a 10 minute walk, short bike ride etc to start with. The key is to find an exercise that you enjoy, that way you are more likely to stict with it.
Also, you don't necessarily need a gym membership. There are many ways to exercise outside for free, however, if you don't like exercising outside, alone or need some motivation from the staff/personal trainers, it can be beneficial to join one.0 -
I just took a look at your profile...you might want to go into your Goals and choose "Guided Setup" then change your weight to your current weight, and save that. Your ticker says you have 819 pounds to lose and that will mess up your calorie allotment (unless the ticker is broken in some way, which wouldn't surprise me.) Just check that your weight is entered correctly and that you have it set to either pounds or kilos, whichever is relevant.2

I would recommend to figure out what body type you have. A pear or an apple. Then it will be easier to adjust a diet and the work out plan.
Good luck on your journey πͺβ1 -
For those who disagreeπ I am "a pear". And for years I work out due to my body type) and it works)

Oh, sorry to confuse you. I was talking about this little weight loss ticker that is on the profile page:
I guess they are malfunctioning right now, because I saw some other peoples' that were wrong too. Mine appears to be working correctly, like this:
Don't worry about it if your daily calories seem to be set okay.
It must be a Myfitnesspal site problem - some weird computer thing.1 -

The shape of your body has no bearing whatsoever on what kind of exercise you should do or what kind of diet you should adopt. That's completely illogical.15 -
Did you want help with the exercise "battle" OP because more information is needed?
And please don't worry about what fruit your body shape is!!

Celery.
Oh, not a fruit, never mind.
OP - exercise problems?
Time issue, motivation issue, health issue, enjoyment issue?5 -
There are many many exercises for Tummy fat but i think the most suitable would be exercises on machines.
There are so many Fat burning machines you can find in the gym, but which one should you choose to use? The exercise bike is a popular choice, and an efficient way to become fitter, healthier, and to increase your cardiovascular abilities.
However, are exercise bikes good for weight loss? Yes, exercise bikes are a great option if your goal is weight loss. The exercise bike burns calories, assist in creating a caloric deficit which is necessary for weight loss. The average person can burn 260 calories for a moderate 30-minute ride on a stationary exercise bike, which can contribute to your overall weight loss goals.-2 -
+1 to those above asking about what type of exercise problems you're having; maybe we can help.
Also, alongside weight loss and exercise, you might consider whether posture is contributing to the appearance of tummy fat.
It's fairly common to see anterior pelvic tilt, and a chin-forward/shoulders-forward posture (sometimes from too much screen time, so one sees it unflatteringly called "nerd neck"). Both of those things will emphasize abdominal fat by sort of pushing any central fullness downward and outward.
I feel like the anterior pelvic tilt has become a bit more common in women since it's been trendy to emphasize the booty - not necessarily a conscious thing people do, but a thing anyway. (It's a slight tip of the pelvis so that the top of the pelvic bones are forward of the lower pelvic bone areas that they should be stacked more vertically on top of, which makes the booty stick out a bit more, but also pushes the stomach forward. Adding the shoulder/neck forward posture tends to squish that area downward from above, making it more prominent still.)
There are exercises to strengthen muscle groups that can improve posture, and conscious attention to those can also be helpful alongside weight loss, improving appearance at any stage in the weight loss process, if posture is a factor.2 -

If you have some studies that shows that samototype classification means a body will react differently to foods or to exercise - those of us that have seen otherwise would like to be informed.
What's the difference in physiology reactions.3 -

Iβd say itβs:
Diet first β lose the fat that is on your body. But you donβt get to chose where on your body the fat will leave. Sadly, that is up to your body.
Then
Exercise β add muscle to your body. You can target muscle building, but it takes a long time to gain muscle.0 -
They say βabs are made in the kitchenβ.
I hate them for being right. π2 -

Exactly where on that site does it discuss somatypes?5 -

Sadly they have no search function - I scanned through their page on studies - nothing on somatotype classifications or studies.
Maybe someone has a program run out of a hospital space that uses is that is confused with the hospital directly.
But some Universities discuss it - though they give no reason why it's a valid thing, except it has been done for years by many. Ok.....

Well - blood letting was done for years too by the then educated ones.4 -

Yeah, that and: I don't see how doing a form of exercise based on one's somatotype (or fruit shape?) and ending up with good results is a clear demonstration that that's essential to success. Having friends who followed the same concept, got good results, isn't super persuasive to me, either. Exercise and eating programs tend to be helpful.
There are a lot of people who post in Success Stories here who did some exercise and eating program - lots, I'd bet, with no reference to somatotypes/fruits at all - and who look really great, including some with nice stomachs.
In my personal life, there are multiple people who undertook exercise/eating programs, for sure in their cases with zero somatotyping/fruit analogies, and who look really great, including some with nice stomachs.
Heck, I just did random fun stuff, not an actual serious appearance-focused program, and I don't think I look terrible, especially for an old chick. Pretty sure I could have a flat stomach and much more visible abs (i.e., horizontal definition lines) if I lost another 10 pounds, did certain workout routines I find annoying (not to spot reduce, just to add some mass), but I have zero interest in cute abs. No fruits, no somatotypes.
Besides, if I *did* follow somatotype theory, I definitely used to be an endomorph (a little over 6 years back), now I seem to be a mesomorph. I guess. π€·ββοΈ
Here's an academic site (sort of) that gives the somatotypes a little bit of love up front:
https://www.uh.edu/fitness/comm_educators/3_somatotypesNEW.htm
. . . but ends up here:
https://www.uh.edu/fitness/comm_educators/impossible_goals.htm
Couple of quotes from the latter:
"TV ads and infomercials touting gym memberships, diet plans, and exercise equipment can be extremely misleading, says Colby."
"What you can do, she says, is learn to eat and exercise in a way that emphasizes and develops your best features, while downplaying those you'd love to change if only you could. "Knowing your body type can definitely help you do the exercises that are best for you," says Colby. "You wouldn't want to do a lot of lunges, for example -- which build lower-body muscle -- if you're bottom heavy to begin with, because you might get discouraged and quit.""
There's other startling advice about eating, such as that people who tend to be thin and unmuscular should ". . . choose nutrient- and calorie-dense foods like nuts, dried fruits, sunflower seeds, and starchy vegetables, rather than lower-cal choices like fresh fruits and popcorn."; but those with excess bodyweight tendencies should "Eat lean proteins and high-fiber foods to help you feel full longer.
For the "lucky mesomorphs": "the same rules for health and well-being apply to them as to everyone else."
Not so much physiology as common sense: Too little weight/muscle? Work to add some. To much weight? Work to lose some fat, develop and keep some muscle/fitness. If specific body regions are less appealing to the owner than others, choose the work accordingly.
There was a trainer who came on here a few years back to support one of his clients, after some folks here criticized the trainer's web site for referencing - and seeming to rely on - somatotypes. Unlike many such trainers, he was willing to engage and discuss his training and marketing approach. What it came down to was that he felt he needed to meet the guys who thought they were doomed to be skinny ectomorphs where they were cognitively speaking, in his marketing (using those skinny-guy stereotypes), and get them on a more calorie-dense nutritious diet, plus a good strength routine. He had a site aimed at women, too, heavy on the usual "flat belly" "fit and toned" rhetoric, in its marketing. π€·ββοΈ0 -

There's nothing on this site about doing some specific exercise because you are some shape of fruit. News flash...regular exercise and healthy eating tends to be beneficial. Doing some form of specific exercise because that is somehow more beneficial because of some shape of fruit but wouldn't be beneficial if you were some other shape of fruit is illogical.4
