Eat more than you burn. Go through the guided setup, get a calorie goal, eat at least that many calories each day. If you find it hard to eat that much food, you can pack in the calories in your beverages - drink full-fat milk (dairy or otherwise), protein shakes, smoothies with peanut butter, etc.

If you also want to build muscle, focus on getting enough protein and start a strength-training regimen built for hypertrophy.

Eat normally for three days. Log all your food consistently.

Eat more that the three day caloric average. Add anywhere from 250-500 calories per day. This will give you approximately .5-1lb gain per week.

Consider resistance training if not already with sufficient stimulus so you gain muscle/fat instead of just fat if that is your goal. Try target one gram per one lb of body weight of protein daily.

Universally works for any size/weight when done consistently and accurate to portions of food and activity level.

I’m right there with ya. It’s a struggle that seems silly to most but critical for me. Lol
