How come some people have an updated version of myfitnesspal and some people have the older version, like I have the older version so I don’t have the camera option to just post pics and vids to share.

    Maybe the people with updated versions pay for the premium version.

    Free MFP includes photo uploading, and as far as I know one gets updated versions of the app for free if the phone version accommodates the upgrade.

    I've heard some people with older phones have problems with photos in the phone app. I have intermittent problems with the phone app uploading photos, other times it works. I don't know whether it's a server traffic thing, or what. Have you asked the MFP support folks via the Help page, @lnagrsia? At the very least, you should be able to upload photos in the Community forums via the web version of MFP, using your web browser.
