I just joined this and began this week. I always struggle on any diet I'm doing on the weekends, I eat one bad thing and I'm totally off and gain all my weight that I lost the previous week back on by Monday. Help me with tips to keep me from giving in! I think when I'm at work, I have a routine, so I don't get tempted. Thanks for your help!

I try to stay busy on the weekends so I don't eat out of boredom. I also try to keep some healthy snacks in the house to eat instead of junk food. I also try t drink plenty of water. Keeping track of your food with the diary will also be a huge help. Good luck.0

Hello! My boyfriend and I usually give ourselves one day a week where we don't exercise and we can eat whatever we want. It gives me something to look forward to during the week and also helps remind me that if I'm going to make permanent changes, I can't just cut myself off from things, but learn to look forward to them as things that I've truly earned. After a while, just having a bite of ice cream is satisfying and I don't binge on three bowls. Sometimes just knowing that I CAN eat something is enough to stop be from ruining my day. It's my choice and I'm not helpless.
I also find it helpful if I'm craving something that I know I don't need because I'm not really hungry, to brush my teeth instead. The taste of the toothpaste will make whatever I want taste different anyway, and now I won't want to waste a perfectly good teeth brushing0 -
The only thing that has helped me is that I weight myself each week on a Tuesday morning and I know that if I eat bad over the weekend it will reflect on the scales!0

besides what was already said you can workout more to earn more calories, since you tend to eat more on the weekends add a extra workout in to earn more calories like walking 30min to 1hr will give you more calories to snack on just add them into your calories for the day.
the more you workout the more you can eat.0 -
I try to "save up" some calories for the weekend. That means, I work out on friday and don't eat the exercise calories back immediately that day, knowing that I will want to eat them on the weekend. It may not work for everybody, but it seems to work for me.0

I always eat more at weekends, it's all my hubbys fault though, he's always cooking lots of lovely dishes and force feeds me0
