Didn't think I'd have the energy to dance, let alone for literally hours. Had a gala last weekend, still recovering from it but oh my. I felt better and I was more active than I'd been in years. I was so happy!!!
I was able to dance with only a few water breaks, not even a break to sit down and rest. Definitely a result of my healthier habits20 -
I did a workout last night. Even though I was tired, even though we had gone out to eat and it was late. I did 15 minutes of stretching and 15 minutes of cardio!17

I took some pictures for a new passport and actually like my face in some of them. Usually I avoid pictures but I'm kinda cute now!20
-
I'm 3 sizes smaller than when I started 😁

Just put my Fitbit back on my wrist after charging, and the band went to the fifth hole as if it belonged there. I've been doing the fourth! Started at the third...sometimes I just sit and stare at my tiny wrists. (Now if the rest could just catch up...)17

I’ve lost 6 pounds and today is my 70th day of logging in.18

The other day, dressing in the dark before work while my wife slept, I grabbed a pair of pants from the top of the pile. Turns out they were a very old pair, back before I lost six inches off my gut. I discovered this fact when I zipped them up, let go so I could grab a shirt, and the pants fell down off my hips to my feet despite being zipped.27

I can see the neck muscles in my neck!18

I've lost 62lbs in 4 months, so non of my clothes fit. The other day I was at Walmart and my shorts fell down, to my ankles. Not a surprise at Walmart, very surprised for me! haha27

Skipping a whole big story: There’s been a bit of stress in my house since Friday.
And I’ve been staying within my calorie budget. But gained two pounds anyhow.
The old me would have given up and eaten ALL THE THINGS
But now I understand stress causes water weight gain. And I’m just rolling with it.40 -
It is SO HARD not to do that. Go you!6

I've been tracking for 100 days. I don't think I've ever stuck it out this long before.30

Thank you 😊
I'd love to get to 135 or even back at 139 then focus on maintenance, that's the part I'm not good at.
Nice, you're almost there. I am 10 lbs away from maintenance myself and just like you, I am both looking and not looking forward to it at the same time.10 -
Woo! Just did my fastest elliptical "run" yet! I won't be winning any races, but I'm loving the increased stamina.17

Noticed today my shoulders are straight across now instead of sloping down. I never noticed they did that before.23

Lately, one of my cats has taken to 'stealing' my home office desk chair for napping.
The NSV is that if I sit to one side, my backside AND my cat can fit on the seat and he can nap beside me 😁23 -
Been going at it hard in the gym so much so that today I wanted to throw up in the middle of my set. And I hadn't even eaten anything since dinner last night. Definitely don't need a trainer to push myself when I quite capable of it9

I had a goal to fit into these shorts comfortably by the time we go on vacation. I have been sick the past three weeks and was worried I wouldn't make it. Tried the shorts on last night and they fit perfectly! We leave on the 10th, so just in time too!24

Something strange is happening. When I first joined MFP 6 years ago, I lost 25 pounds and got down to a size 18 from 22. Then I put all the weight back on + another 10. Now I'm down 18 pounds (still 15 off from where I was 6 years ago) and I'm down to a size 16! I bought two new pairs of work pants yesterday - my first time working outside the house since shutdown happens next week. I'm stoked22

back on track with Bible Study ... It's called First Place for Health ... JUST LIKE WW ONLY CENTERED ON CHRIST!!11

can wear normal 9-11 sized knee socks that pull up to the knees instead of slouching them below fat calves17

i am sure you didn't gain 2lbs. that would mean eating 7000 cal over and beyond...shake it off...you got this!8 -

yep, I believe that cortisol info, I always gain weight when stressed even if I dont overeat, then it comes off.6 -
Got a little faster on the elliptical today! Every so slightly, but I call it a victory!12
-
I did 190 minutes yesterday on my Elliptical and 200 minutes today!16

Literal non-scale victory- I managed to stay off the scales for the entire week between official weigh ins. I have this habit of stepping on mid-week to check my progress. Last week I set myself a goal of not stepping on the scales until this morning.
Also- I have stopped biting my nails. I have been a life long nail biter. To the point I bite them back so far they hurt! I know it isn’t a weight related victory, but it is proof that I can break any habit if I set my mind to it 😊32 -
I had a “bad food” day today and went way over my calories. But I held myself accountable, logged everything, and still finished the week in a deficit.18

I have a few...
- I ran 46km last week (I've been gradually increasing the milage for a few months now).
- I rejoined the local running group and I'm running in the middle of the pack
- For weightlifting I've surpassed my 5 rep maxes from 2 years ago on everything except bench press (which should catch up this week). Although I'd still like to pass where I got to at my previous best (around 2013/2014)
- 80kg deadlift! (5 reps!)
- my belly doesn't slump over my seatbelt anymore
- most of my clothes were too tight, and now most of them are too loose
That's awesome! I cannot wait for the seatbelt (or pants waist) overspill to go away!5
