I'm about to shave my head at Union Station in Washington DC with 45 other Mommas to raise awareness and money for pediatric cancer research.
That will be my claim to fame!
Oh, and I've never met anyone famous...
when?0 -
Snogged dummer from Psuedo Echo and the Ventians when I was a wayward teenager. Met Cyndi Lauper (she gave me free tix to her show). Used to live in the same apartment building as Lee Evans and Charlotte Church, Used to babysit for Greg Chappel (Australian Cricketer). Have a fair few others (grew up in a pretty good neighbourhood) but only Aussies would recognise
i LOVE lee evans, infact, another claim to fame, i was watching his XL tour in Manchester in the audience, and while he was wiping the sweat from his face with a towel the audience went silent, so i screamed 'I LOVE YOU LEE' and he looked up and did that little lee evans giggle that he does! I had the recording on my phone for years but lost my phone one day0 -
I met Jeffery Dean Morgan, Isabelle Lucas & Josh Peck. Jeffrey Dean Morgan is dreamy.
Oh, and Kid Rock.0 -

I don't really have any other than Izzy from Gun N Roses lives (and grew up with Axl Rose) here. My mom dated his best friend for awhile and we would go out to his big pole barn hangout and watch them jam and stuff.
Also, Shannon Hoon from Blind Melon grew up here, his daughter Nico and my sister are good friends. My sister didn't know he was buried about 10 mins from her house so I drove her to his grave which is decorated in guitar picks, joints and lots of other random things. She thought that was pretty cool.0 -
I shared a stateroom (bedroom on a boat) with John Goodman for a summer.
I fell asleep on Gregory Peck's lap that same summer.0 -
We have an autographed baseball from Joe Di Maggio that he personally signed
I met William DeVain from the old Knots Landing series, and watched them film Rolling Thunder
I met George W and George H Bush..................thats about it for my claim to fame..... .........Lloyd
oh, I forgot, I did get to visit Lizzie Bordens house, where she took the axe and gave her momma 40 whacks, I met David Crosby ,of Crosby Stills and Nash, and I saw where the Janis Joplin house in Port Arthur , Texas is.......... thats all0 -
I have an unhealthy crush on Hilary Duff, Scarlett Johansson, and Amanda Seyfried does that count    :devil:0

I got kicked out of Disneyland for punching the guy that played Screech from Saved By The Bell, back when the show was popular.
Awesome! But why didn't you kick him in the nads?
I am friends with Brandon Barnes, the drummer from Rise Against. We went to high school together. Super cool guy.0 -
I met Joey Pantoliano (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001592/) in a bookstore last year and he gave me tickets to a showing for a documentary.
Not the coolest story ever, but I'll take it0 -
Yes, but I'll never tell....
Just kidding, I was a food stylist in Hollywood for about a year and I met lots of peeps and worked on lots of movies and tv shows. I did the wedding cake for Meet the Fockers and I'm pretty sure Dustin Hoffman wanted to get me alone for a few minutes. Actually, I think he would have been happy to get anybody alone, he was QUITE the flirt, and actually a really nice guy.0 -

I tell you what. Here is a list of initials of famous women I have slept with. If you can figure out who I am, PM me. If you're right, maybe I'll sleep with you too. Maybe.
JAZPOWCBAS
Clues: Two of them have royal connections. Four of them can be "seven degreed" to Kevin Bacon. I wore a condom for one of them.
oh, for heaven's sake.
You sound like one of those who would walk into a room, expect special treatment, and then say "Don't you KNOW WHO I AM???"

When I worked in the art department at Disney I met Barbara Eden (her diamond was huge!), Michael Jackson (called my sister to talk to her when he was in our dept.), Joan Lunden, and probably some I can't remember. Since I've lived in Nashville I've met or seen closeup: Amy Grant (talked to her at our son's basketball game when they were younger), Lee Greenwood (ate at a table next to him in a restaurant), Chris Rice (sons were in a video with him), Steven Curtis Chapman (his sons were in the same video as my sons), Darrell Waltrip (his daughter graduated with us), Ricky Skaggs (went to church with him), William Golden from the Oak Ridge Boys (went to church with him), Vince Gill (at a Belmont basketball game, stood in line next to him at concession stand), and Guy Penrod (son graduated with us). I really want to meet Wynonna and my dream job would be to work for her in some capacity. The nicest people in the above list were Darrell Waltrip and his wife. They are precious. Michael Jackson was very sweet and kind. It was in 1983, so right after Thriller was released. He took the time to call my sister who adored him. That meant a lot to me.0

Well, I'm originally from the area that Jersey Shore is filmed.. in fact, the eye doctor they go to is down the street from my parents house and I used to belong to the gym they go to and the tanning salon they go to.
I work for a broadcasting company and sometimes celebs come in for interviews.. I've met Gilbert Godfried, Joey Fatone (NSYNC), Kate Flannery (Meredith from the Office), Katharine McPhee, Judah Friedlander, Mark Paul Gosellar (Zack Morris from Saved by the Bell), Breckin Meyer, Noah Wyle... can't remember who else off the top of my head!
Joey Fatone was SUPER nice and laughed at me when I told him i was a huge fan back in the day and saw NSYNC 6th row. Kate Flannery was SO nice and asked me if my office is anything like the tv show and thought it was funny my name was Angela. But probably the nicest was Noah Wyle.. he actually took the time to shake my hand and say hello and said it was really nice to meet me.. SO NICE.
Gilbert Godfried was a JERK!!!! Ahaha, sometimes people come in and just act like they are too good for everybody.. but others are so polite and nice!
I also met Mr. Belding from Saved by the Bell, he was kind of a perv. And I literally bumped into Hal Sparks on the street in NY. My friend and I realized who it was and chased after him for blocks.. couldn't reach him though. ha!0 -
I am a Jedi Knight so everyone who knows me can now drop my name...May the Force be with you.0

My brother-in-law and his girlfriend have run into Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman more times than I can count. They're regulars at the restaurant where my BIL's girlfriend works. They've never shown up when I'm in town though. It makes me sad.0
-
I've met quite a few notable musicians and have some autographed pictures as proof, but my true claim to fame is that I'm related to Andre Shaler, Napoleon Bonaparte's personal body guard.0

I know and worked with Steve Bartman. He's really a nice man/boy!
OH and I went to school with Chris Young of Max Headroom fame!0 -

You've met some pretty neat people! I love Amy Grant.........even through all the b.s. that came along with her. Have you heard her newer song, Better Than a Hallelujah? It makes me bust out in tears! I bought the background CD and sang it at a church recently.........very powerful.
Wynonna did a concert near here recently - I can't say I liked her THAT much before going, but after hearing her in concert? Man, she is freakin' AWESOME!!! I so enjoyed her stories, her music, her voice, her demeanor. What a great performer0 -
