🥅 - (1683/1247 - I was on my way to a good night... but my stress levels got to me while I was at the store last night and I picked up a package of donut holes. I put them back, but my daughter picked them back up again and bought them. So, I ate them. The whole effing package. Somewhere in the vicinity of 16 donut holes. Le sigh. Next time I go for "forbidden fruit," like a bananas or oranges or something)

My stretch goal by New Years Eve is 200 pounds… but I’ll be happy to see 205. Gonna push through this. Making veggie taco soup for dinner tonight. Meal planning and drinking lots of water helps so much! Happy Tuesday! 😁

I'm not sure why I go so long without posting here. Maybe it's embarrassment that I'm going the wrong way and I've backslid horribly in taking proper care of myself. I'd hate to see what my A1C is right now. I'm eating my emotions and stress. Hello, carbs! I've always had a touch of FOMO (I had to look this up the other day because I had no idea what it meant, hahahaha) during the holidays, which was bad during the latter years of my marriage, went away for awhile after my divorce, and came back with a vengeance a couple of years later. This year the FOMO is aggravated by feelings of helplessness, futility, resentment, and a major sense of "This is not the way my life was supposed to be!" Some of those feelings will ease up after the holidays are over, but some will not. Ah well. Just keep plugging along, I guess. Sorry for dumping.
