I know, I'm "cheating" a bit by not doing a weigh-in this week... it's been a rough one and I really don't want to get depressed by a 0 or even maybe slight gain... so I'm taking a pass this week and claiming 0 lbs. I did not lose much this past week, only .4 lbs.; but I have been celebrating my "60th" Birthday this week , first with our kids & grandkids with a special dinner & a movie with snacks & cake. Then my BFF took me out to lunch on my birthday. So I have splurged a few times. Now my hubby is taking me out to dinner tonight as he had a meeting the night of my birthday (Wed) Anyway hope to do better next week. Best wishes for a great loss to you all!0 -

@Dewpetals--Hope all goes well with the surgery, walking the halls and pacing does burn calories, try and drink a little extra water, that may help, and journal- if that's your thing. Dump all your feelings and stress onto the pages instead of a plate. Good luck!

Falisa, I'm wishing you peace and understanding in the loss of your grandmother. Our heartfelt prayers are with you and your family. Thank you for your dedication to this challenge. I have gained weight this week and also a little more wisdom of my own personality (LOL) Apparently I was not taking this weight loss effort seriously and assumed I could just "WILL" the numbers to go down on the scale (HA!). Oh, and not exercising AT ALL this week probably had something to do with it too :ohwell: So anyhow, I want to see a big number next week and I'm ready to work for it this time.
