This isn't some ground breaking recipe or anything, just my current go to breakfast. Gives me a good start with a lot of protein, so I can enjoy my carbs later.
3 egg whites
1 large egg
3 strips of Jenn-o low fat turkey bacon
1 la tortilla factory wheat tortilla
Dash of Siracha chili sauce
Cook turkeu bacon till desired. Cook eggs till desired texture , heat tortillas and combine all three. Top with hot sauce to desired heat level.
261 calories
10 g fat
7 carbs
34 protein
For some reason the hot sauce makes me feel full. Enjoy.

Well if you like hot stuff, it kind of masks the taste of the eggs. Could also add some cheese for a low carb additional cover up taste.0 -

I eat hard boiled eggs for breakfast sometimes. Chopped up a bit on whole grain toast with a laughing cow cheese wedge spread on it with ground black pepper. Yum.
Greek yogourt and berries is somewhat lower carb than cereals or toast plus you get the higher protein.0 -
Thanks! Sounds great! I am doing the intermittent fast (12 hours) and I need a high protein breakfast to start off after my fast. Can I use pork bacon instead of turkey?0

The guy who wrote this post did so in 2012: I'd be surprised if he's still around.
Of course you can use pork bacon if you want to. If you're food logging - as I'd expect on a site like MFP - then you'll see what the nutritional value and calories of your variation is.
You can substitute anything you like, that keeps calories for the day where you need them, keeps you feeling full and happy, tastes good, and - if it matters to you - contributes to good nutrition.
Personally, for the eggs/bacon/tortillas/hot sauce, I sub oatmeal with berries, Greek yogurt, walnuts, hemp and flax seeds, cinnamon, blackstrap molasses, peanut butter powder, and coffee with frothed skim milk. It has 42 grams of protein, and some other good nutrients, but higher calories (that will fit in my calorie goal just fine).
People here eat all kinds of things for breakfast:

You can use others' meals for ideas, but sub in whatever works for you.0
