Hello, I'm new here! Anyone want an accountability buddy?

I'm an 18 year-old uni student from Canada just trying to fit back into my dresses :)

There's a lot of shame around weight loss, that's not a surprise to anyone. The biggest factor that keeps me from working out is that people will see, and they'll know that I struggle. That very "keeping it lowkey" mindset hinders my progress, so I'd like to be highkey with someone.

I'm trying to fit 30 minutes of (amateur, YouTube-conducted) dance into my daily routine, I know a lot of Indian (often vegetarian) recipes and want to experiment with more, and I like to talk. If any of that sounds like an accountability buddy that'd suit you, feel free to message me!

    Hey there! I will be adding you. I also really enjoy dancing. I play Just Dance almost every night but I also really like the YouTube videos. Currently trying to learn the dance for Peru with Fireboy DML and Ed Sheeran. 🥰 Woukd love to help keep each other accountable!

    Hi there! Sounds a lot like me! I am a bit (actually a lot) older than you but also in Canada 😊 When I started running last summer, I always felt like everyone is looking at me and thinking how bad my shape is and how slow I am 🤦‍♀️ Can't say I am completely over it now, plus I took a break from running (freezing cold + lockdowns all the time so can't use gym). Now I try to do some strength training 3 times a week, yoga as often as I can and daily walks. I like dancing too! Especially Bangra/Bollywood kind. I am adding you, let's chat soon :)
