Looking forward to February. January was an easy month to stay motivated as I had fallen off the wagon and gained a lot of weight by the end of 2020. So, I had great success in January because I had a lot of excess weight that was just waiting to come off when I started paying attention to my diet and activity.
Now the real work begins! Bring it on February.

Here we go. Let's see if I can get my body to give it up finally.4 -
The weight is starting to come off! I suspect that my new smart scale just isn't as good as the old one (which my kids and her friend broke). It bounces around in an eradicate way but I don't think it's going to tell me I way 200lb if I really weigh 180, so onward I go. I'm logging consistently (on carb manager) and noticing changes.

Sneaking past a milestone for me, less than 170. This has been a big sticking point for me over the last 10 years. I tend to let down my guard and bounce back above 170, then I lose motivation and focus. This year I hope to reverse that trend. Part of my plan to do this is accountability. By that, I don’t mean just publicly announcing this milestone but leaning on all of you for support and encouragement to stay the course this time.
