Sneaking past a milestone for me, less than 170. This has been a big sticking point for me over the last 10 years. I tend to let down my guard and bounce back above 170, then I lose motivation and focus. This year I hope to reverse that trend. Part of my plan to do this is accountability. By that, I don’t mean just publicly announcing this milestone but leaning on all of you for support and encouragement to stay the course this time.

I’m 9 pounds away from my goal weight set back on New Year’s Day. I expect my weekly weight loss to slow down now. Although I will continue to track and post my weight on this forum, I would like to shift my focus to some non-scale victories (NSVs) each time I post.
Thursday, I had a bod pod done to measure my body fat. I’m not going to post the number, but I will share the category I fell into. Bod pod analysis says I’m in the excess fat range. The good news is when I reach my goal weight I will very likely be bumped into the next category, moderately lean.
Hope to see you all next Sunday with another small weight loss and some big NSVs to report.

Don't believe inlaws when they tell you something they made is really low-carb.
Oh well. I didn't pig out. It's just water. Onward and downward next month hopefully.

Only one pound down for this week. Weight loss is slowing down as I approach my goal weight. However, I feel great. Tomorrow my wife and I both will have been Keto clean for the first 60 days of 2022. I’ve lost 21.4 pounds total and 14.5 inches off of the combination of several body part measurements. In addition, my Tanita scale says I’ve dropped 5.6 % of my body fat this year.
I’m still in the excess fat category, according to my Tanita weight/body fat reading. I also have 8 pounds to lose to get to the goal weight I set for the New Year.
