Just to update everyone...
I've been juicing for breakfast every day for the past 2 weeks.
My FAVORITE so far is:
-Carrots (1 cup baby peeled)
-Beets (1 small "chioggia beet" (white with red cocentric rings inside), 1 small red beet)
-Green Chard (about 3-4 leaves with stems)
-Celery (2-3 stalks)
-1 small apple (i prefer the gala or the tart/sweet green types--can't remember the name from farmer's market, it wasn't granny smith but i'm sure that would work)
-1 small lemon (whole with skin)
This makes about a 10 ounces of REALLY good juice!
I experimented with types of apples, beets, and green leaves, and the best are the ones that I specified in my opinion.
Use organic for everything of course.
HAPPY JUICING!0 -
