Anyone else down to the last 7 - 10lbs? Share the journey?

Hiya

I don't have an exact target weight - will stop when it feels right. But I think I have 7 - 10 lbs to go. Have just dropped 2 lb after being on a plateau for a bit. Feels like this will be the hardest bit - especially with a cold and dark Scottish winter on the way ;).

I'm 42, female, two small boys and work full time.....so busy,busy,busy! I'm really into exercise and fitness as a way to improve health, mood, looks etc.

Anyone want to join me push towards their loss goals?

  • I've got about 6 pounds to go, coincidentally enough, two of which recently came off after a recent plateau as well. During my current diet I have lost 29 pounds and I know that these last pounds are probably going to be the most frustrating to get off. This recent plateau really did tested my patience and I am still finding it hard to believe that I did not leave a trail of devastation :ohwell:.

    I also work full time and I am attempting to graduate this December with a Master's Degree, so I completely understand being busy; I live in Southern California (USA) and while I am single I also happen to be a cheer coach for a local squad (so for a couple of hours a week I have 20 girls) :drinker: needless to say that I drink lots of caffeine to get me through the day, which is ok because its allowed on my diet.

    I am definitely ready and able to push you along your path and ask for the same in return :flowerforyou:.

    Hi I'm barbara I've just joined today so just getting used to the site. I'm 53 from cumbria and need to lose about 10 pounds. This wintery weather isn't helping cos all I want to do is eat!! Lol
  • I'm down to those last 10 lbs or so, depending on how I feel when I reach my goal. I've been stuck at a plateau the past month, but this past week after bumping up my calories lost 2 lbs!

    I've been slacking on the exercise though, I hear you on on being busy. Hopefully work will let up soon though and I can start getting the daily workouts in again.

    It's hard to keep the motivation up right now, I'm where I want to be size wise for clothing and my body is fairly toned. Only thing is the belly fat. Hopefully these last few lbs will all come straight from there.
