Anyone have any healthy game time recipes?? I'm making pierogies right now--dough and all. Maybe not the best idea but I couldn't resist!

Go Pack Go! Chili for a rainy and chilly day in Wisconsin. Possibly an apple pie, who can resist!
  • STEELERS are where it's at. Hopefully we play better than last week though hahah.

I love pierogies!!! Chili isnt that bad as long as you can portion control and have the will power to say no to all the rest of the stuff ie cheese, chips, tortillas.

Fresh veggies, fruits, hummus, pita chips or those Special K cracker chips.

Oh yeah and ... GO BRONCOS!!!

I eat veggies and dip using Fage 0% Greek yogurt and Hidden Valley Ranch dry mix. I also like to make my own pita chips - I cut whole wheat pitas into eighths, sprinkle with some garlic powder, and bake until crunchy. They are great with hummus or laughing cow cheese wedges.

Check out www.skinnytaste.com and www.hungrygirl.com for some really awesome recipes

    GO EAGLES!!!

All the cool kids are Pats fans. Going to be a great one today!

I save some calories to enjoy a few potato chips and a cold one during the game.

  • I like grilled zucchini and hummus. A bowl of cherries (if you can still get some). Wasabi peas. A mini bag of 100 cal popcorn. I am a big football addict so I usually need something to last me all day. Right now I don't have much of an appetite so I am having to force myself to eat to make the 1200 calories. I have had to drink ensure at the end of the day the past three days to get to 1200... not a good thing to not be hungry. Maybe football will make me hungry again. 10570705.png

If I say the patriots can somebody find me a pic of a scantily clad Tom Brady?

Preferably not next to that wife of his, because I'm actually feeling confident today.
  • I just saw Tom Brady in an Ugg commercial but they don't tell you its an Ugg commercial until the last second. I was instantly turned off.

Do work, Texans! I make home made salsa on game days. Very easy, low cal. Boil 4 medium tomatoes and 3 serrano peppers for 20 min. Chop half a yellow onion and cilantro and put in blender. Add tomatoes and peppers and salt to taste. Do not add water. Puree in blender. So good and authentic.

  • Niners!! This season has been hard cutting down on the beer and nixing the bar food, but im getting the hang of it. I eat before I go, have a beer or two there, and im good :-)
  • I'm a Ravens fan- who didn't win today. But had a heck of a game last week!! Steeler's are great too unless they're playing the Ravens.
I spent 3 hours clening earlier so I could do pretzels now. And La Yogurt- only 90 calories.
