Since I mistakenly thought the pictured creatures were grasshoppers and I had never heard of the crickets idiom anyway - is it any wonder I was confused?

Does it make more sense and way less random now? πŸ˜‚

Wasn't my silence earlier due to the fact that I was swimming, then doing water aerobics, then doing lunch with my brother and sister-in-law?
Or, was it because I was huddled in the corner, hiding, eating dozens of Girl Scout cookies?

(wasn't it the former? and isn't that "my answer and I'm sticking to it"?) πŸͺπŸ˜‹πŸ˜‡

Aren't there a plethora of cookies in the Other category, because that list was, apart from the mention of homemade, specific to Girl Scout cookies? Aren't there in fact many cookies I would normally choose over the Girl Scout cookies, apart from the desire to support them?
Aren't Milano, Sausalito, Lido, Brussels, Chesapeake, Nantucket and Geneva just a few from Pepperidge Farms, and aren't there also various Oreos, Walker's Shortbread cookies, Bourbon Cream, LU Petit Ecolier, ... on and on...?
    But aren't Milanos your favourite?

Why did I take on this side job when I only have the weekend to repack and get ready for three jobs on the road next week??

Are you a glutton for punishment, or just wanting to test your limits of endurance? πŸ€”

Perhaps she just is saving up her frequent flyer miles for a seat on the first trip to Mars?

Guess who's going to see these guys (Lunasa) tonight in Berkeley California, at the Freight & Salvage Coffee House? (and isn't the Freight wise to require N95 masks, as well as proof of covid-19 vaccination including booster?)
Then it's off across the bay to San Francisco, and won't I be having a DEXA body scan there tomorrow morning? And might I even take a dip in the bay tomorrow (aren't I'm bringing my shorty wetsuit, swimmer's buoy and other swimming paraphernalia)? And for breakfast, don't I plan on having a sourdough waffle at Boudin Bakery Cafe at Pier 39? πŸ˜‹

Am I the only person who prefers French toast over either pancakes or waffles? And am I even weirder if I say I prefer powdered sugar instead of syrup?

Wasn't I with you until powdered sugar?

By the way, how's the mustache?

Have you ever seen a man with a wisps of hair and a comb-over and thought to yourself, dude, just shave it all off?

Good French toast is great, isn't it, especially with powdered sugar and butter? But pure maple syrup never gets old, does it? And shouldn't you at least try sourdough Belgian waffles before making that declaration? πŸ§‡

Do I have a relative living in one of the quaint little cottages on the Filbert Steps in San Francisco, or is this my place and I just forgot? πŸ˜‚

This morning, wouldn't I call it McDonald's as I no longer trust the Starbucks at my airport to provide me with anything but imagined coffee?

Yes wouldn't McDonald's coffee be much better than imagined Starbucks coffee? Even better than an imagined restretto with heavy cream, I imagine? πŸ€”

Did you know I am now at the Indianapolis Convention Center, where I was able to get a venti latte from one of two Starbucks? There are multiple hotels accessible via skywalks. Both the Marriott and the JW have a Starbucks inside.

Do you realize how much money I've saved since my wife stopped going to Starbuck's in favor of using our new Keurig?

You've saved? πŸ€” Does your Keurig make a mean latte?

What are you hinting about? Isn't it hard enough to multitask, including making sentences into questions and catching rogue auto corrections, without worrying about whether or not my wording is perfect? πŸ˜‰

Well you did make one out of three sentences a question, so that's not a bad batting average, is it? πŸ˜‰

Wouldn't a .333 average be worthy of Hall of Fame consideration for baseball batters? Wouldn't the same average be considered pathetic for football passers?

Do you know I looked at that twice and was convinced I had all questions in there? πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ
