Hi I'm new!

Hi all. I am 39 yrs old. 285 lbs. 5 foot 3in. I finally decided that I was tired of being fat. I have lost 4 lbs in 11 days but I am weak. I ate 3 slices of pizza today. I am ashamed.

    It’s okay!! It happens. Weight loss is a journey, can’t be spot on 100% of the time. Just stay consistent and get your steps in

    No reason to feel shamed at all. 1 day eating food you enjoy can help your mental health and make it bearable to keep going with it. Consistency over time is key.

    I would urge you to get your daily calorie goal from MFP and eat those calories. Cutting too low can start you on a cycle of binge eating which will be hard to break later. Have patience--slow but steady. This is also best for loose skin. Please be careful.
