I'm not sure why, but I seem to have trouble remembering to take my vitamin pills. I'm 70 years old, and, undoubtedly, need the supplementation. I've taken them everyday for two weeks. Progress!15

I ordered some clothes online, thinking I probably wouldn't be able to wear them right away, because I ordered smaller than before. Not too many sizes, but enough to, well, maybe be a bit on the tight side.
The clothes were a bit too large for me.20 -
For the first time I felt comfortable (although still a little nervous) taking shirtless progress pics

I'm running out of pants that don't fall off23

I ended up in a weird mood after going through my closets today, so it's a good time to refocus on the positives...
1.) The too-small tank tops I ordered last year look great on me now. My shoulders actually look GOOD, and I don't have the boob fat anymore at the armholes. It's been decades since I felt good in sleeveless ANYTHING, so this opens up a whole new realm of possibilities.
2.) Even though I was forced to let go of a bunch of clothes I really loved, I look a LOT better in the things that still fit me. And the truth is, many of my old favorites never looked as good on me as I thought they did. So, letting them go is actually a win because it reaffirms who I am NOW--the healthier happier me I want to be from now on.
3.) While it was frustrating to have some capri pants be too tight in the calves, the NSV is that they were too tight because I have MUSCLES!! The strength training is paying off, and this means I'll look good in other options. After all, the main reason I always wore capris was that I didn't like my legs. Now I do, so bring on the shorts and skirts!!
BOTTOM LINE: Even though I feel discombobulated and unsure right now, my hard work has paid off, and I now have the body to wear all sorts of pretty clothes, and THAT is a huge NSV even if it comes with a learning curve. Time to hit the thrift stores and see what's possible!!28 -
Was able to suit up in my 29 year old shirt…. I guess it fits. Went on easy enough got a little nervous thought I’d need jaws of life to get out of it. 😥 ha ha
This was after I ran a 10k during lunch in about 59 mins and 48 seconds.
Found out after being virtual the last few years next Capital 10k will be on 4/10. I may suit up in my vintage shirt and hit it.

Saw some old friends yesterday for lunch that i haven't seen in a long while.....I know I have said this before, but people seem to think I am about 30-35 pounds lighter than I am!
No wonder why I get the funny look when I tell people I would like to lose another 50 pounds -- currently 185 and 5'4" and they think I am 150-15512 -

Yeah I’ve gotten similar comments. When I was at 200. I’d get you weigh 170 don’t you? You're to skinny. 😛6 -
Looking back at a less round face in the mirror at the salon yesterday. I usually dislike seeing my self after the cape comes off and I didn't this time.17

Had to switch to a smaller size in underwear17

I too have this issue. My weight is well distributed and people always think I’m 30lbs lighter than I am. They also think I’m 2 sizes smaller than I am. My dad asked me how much further I was gonna go. I told him about 20ish lbs. He was questioning if I really needed to do that. I was like yup! That barley puts me in the healthy BMI category. Lol! Good problems to have I guess.
My NSV are that I wanted to shop for new clothes/shoes. Bought 5 pairs of stilettos 👠 cause I couldn’t make up my mind which I liked best. Haven’t worn heels in years except for black tie events. Now I’ve worn heels twice in the last week. Being lighter and stronger makes it easier to stand and walk in them.
Underwear and belts are too big. Bikini I bought for “goal weight this summer” fits me already and I need to purge my closet again.

Quite a few NSVs this week:
My bras are now on the tightest hooks.
I can button up my favourite jeans (there is a mountain of flubber hanging over the top and it really isn’t a pretty sight, but I’m getting there!)
I tried on 3 tops this morning, which I’ve never worn because I was too fat - 2 of them fit perfectly, while the other one fits better but is still a little tight around my chest.
My tummy was noticeably smaller when I got dressed today.
I’m so happy! 😊

I have alarms on my phone for when I need to take my vitamins. Otherwise I'll forget, and I'm 55!

I was recently able to EASILY twist a ring off my finger that I have been struggling unsuccessfully to force off for the past 6 months! Whoo Hoo!20

I ordered some new tanks tops because the ones I have are way too big. After ordering them, I went to clean out the old ones. I started going through my closet and pulling out a lot of other things that don't fit well (and never have), that I don't love, that look dowdy or cheap... I deserve to have nice, well-fitting clothes. I feel so much lighter getting rid of that big armload of *kitten* I will never wear.24

I've logged consistently for 20 days. Not every day was perfect but I have logged everything I've eaten for 20 days.31

Congratulations. You’ve just beaten 95% of new users to this site. Keep it up!!!!!!
Consistency, not perfection. Nothing in life is perfect, even what we perceive as perfection.20 -
The dress I'm wearing today used to be very tight around my bust and shoulders. Today it's looser but that means my boobs have deflated lol not a very happy nsv but nsv nonetheless14

My sister gave me a Cubs World Series shirt for Christmas the year they won. I could only wear it a couple of times before it shrunk too much for me to be comfortable. Wearing it loosely today!23

I had to play seamstress this morning to take in my jeans to keep them from falling off my rear. I’ve tossed out so many that I’m literally going to be out of clothes soon. I’m going to have to go buy some new clothes soon.19
