    Success of the week: Ended the first quarter in a good place and strengthening good habits. My ten-day average weight stayed at least in my absolute maintenance range for the entire month of March. Maybe in April it will move into the ideal range.


    Struggle of the week: I failed to meet my quarterly "miles" target by just a few miles. That's OK. I can catch up in Q2.

    Successes/Struggles:
    March was an up and down month (or rather down, then up). I had a short break away in the middle of the month, but planned for it by eating at a deficit for a few weeks and easing down in weight to under 49 kg. Then saw a big spike after returning home but lost that fairly quickly, so here I am back at 49 kg, spot on my maintenance goal.

    Success of the week: I did it. Finally. I am back in my maintenance range. My average weight is at or below 150 for the first time since December. Back in December I had a very short time below 150. Just a few days. Before that it was December 2020 as I was in the middle from gaining my lockdown weight. That started in September 2020. So it's been almost 19 months with this little struggle, and I feel successful to be back in my maintenance range. I track a ten-day moving average, and it hit 149.9 yesterday. The one-week average will follow in a day or two.

    Struggle of the week: I am not giving any power to my struggles this week so I can focus on the success.

    Successes/struggles of the week: It was a pretty busy week with work as well as other activities. I managed to get 18k steps one day, which was nice, though there was also another day when I just barely got my steps in (finished at 11:56 pm!).

I had to create a flyer and was in seriously procrastinating mode which meant hardly anything got done.     Successes/struggles of the week: A couple of very high weigh-ins this week - likely a combination of high sodium/carb takeout meals a couple of days in a row, in addition to a new medication that I'm on that has a side effect of gaining weight.

    Success of the week: Last week I didn't list any struggles. This week, no success to speak of. Except this: I won't let the struggle bug me too much. I'll just keep sticking to the program, and I can be assured that results will follow. It's just another little blip.

    Struggle of the week: Just as I was settling back into my maintenance goal range, it's like I hit a rubber floor and bounced back up, up, up. It's down from Friday, and it's down from every day since Monday except yesterday, but it is back up where it was end of March. Grrrr..

    Successes/Struggles:

    Had a busy weekend – my daughter + kids stopped in for lunch on Saturday (on their way home from holiday in Cornwall) – and did roast lunch for mum on Sunday.
    Mostly sensible food but mum brought a delicious lemon tart for dessert on Sunday plus a bottle of wine. It was a good day.
