New to MFP not to being healthy

Hi everyone, I just found the community here on this site so thought I'd introduce myself since I plan to participate.
I am here to lose 18 pounds I picked up in the last 18 months. Short version is I wasn't careful enough on certain medications known to be weight gain potential, but I'm snipping it now before it gets worse. I'm already down 7 pounds since starting here 5 weeks ago, so the total loss will be 25 pounds.
I was very active on sparkpeople so I already know tracking works well for me. I went from 319 to 152 on that site. Looks like you have a great place here too!
Looking forward to meeting some of you. I follow a low glycemic index diet and work out five days a week.
