Looking for friends with sense of humor!

I am fairly new to MFP, and am really enjoying myself here so far. I am looking to expand my support network, but here's the deal...I have checked out a lot of the message boards and posts and see that there is a LOT of drama on here! I just want some folks who get humor and sarcasm, and want to be motivated and motivating in a positive way! I am a mid 30's mom of 2, looking to drop about 20 lbs or so. I love my family but they make me crazy, I really want to make a lifestyle change but it is so hard to break a lifetime of bad habits, and I am REALLY tired of my pants leaving that "dent" on my tummy.     There's plenty of people who get humor and sarcasm here, we've just been basically "banned" from the boards for doing so...so you might not see us on here as much :-(

    But welcome! And be careful on the boards! The moderators have it out for anybody with a sense of humor!

    Hey! I'm a no-drama-mama to 3 boys. 3 boys---a sense of humor is mandatory. Glad to see someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously. Add me! :)

    I agree! so many post that nothing to do with weight control. And getting bent on stupid stuff. I'd be glad to add you.

    I completely agree...way too much drama and a lot of people just don't get sarcasm or have a good sense of humor. I'm always up for making new friends on here. :)

    YOu have to understand the kind of sense of humor used on this site....

    You have to have a tough skin sometimes but know that its all in good fun....

    Please becareful on the boards for fake posts ie trolls

    Hey Same here humor makes this easier. Losing weight is awesome but changing the way I eat and exercising more is hard! Laughter is key so I am totally open to jokes and sarcasm. Good luck!
