i forgot about splash! netflix to the rescue. and stand by me is a classic - *begged* my parents to let me watch it in fifth grade because it was rated 'r' - i watch that one fairly often.

Fave movie as a kid? Probably Snow White or Cinderella (the ORIGINALS, mind you!)
OR MAYBE 101 Dalmations (again, the original!)
And it cost a quarter.........and you could bring your OWN popcorn and candy into the theatre.
I remember wanting to see The Blob as a pre-teen - but Mom wouldn't let me go, cuz it was too scary. My OLDER SIBS got to go, but not me :sad: discrimination at its finest!!0 -

HAHAHA...I remember watching "The Blob" on Sunday's on some 'horror hour' on local TV. Seriouly..that thing moved at the speed of a turtle...WHY was it so scary? Remember "The Crawling Hand"?0 -
