all the trolls on the boards today had me thinking about gremlins, and how you should never feed them after midnight or throw water on them!

so what movies take you back?

    mine are:

    the goonies.
    labrynth.

Both my favs., along with The Never Ending Story and Lost Boys.

i forgot about splash! netflix to the rescue. and stand by me is a classic - *begged* my parents to let me watch it in fifth grade because it was rated 'r' - i watch that one fairly often.

edited to say: no such thing as old!

    Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
    Little Women
Dune (whenever I was sick I'd watch Dune)
Star Wars (again, sick days I'd watch all 3)
    Mulan

Movie I watched most as a child:
NEWSIES!! AND they're making a craptastic Broadway version with NO Denton and some dumb chick reporter love interest for Jack instead of Sarah. WHICH, is bull.

My gawd, you are all SO YOUNG!

Fave movie as a kid? Probably Snow White or Cinderella (the ORIGINALS, mind you!)
OR MAYBE 101 Dalmations (again, the original!)

And it cost a quarter.........and you could bring your OWN popcorn and candy into the theatre.

I remember wanting to see The Blob as a pre-teen - but Mom wouldn't let me go, cuz it was too scary. My OLDER SIBS got to go, but not me  discrimination at its finest!!
