I am curious what you guys think a good HRM would be for someone on a budget. I am a college student so my funds are really limited. I am currently waiting on my financial aid application to be processed and my first check to be sent out. I am also unemployed at the moment.

    Ahem - I recommend the Polar FT4.... Sorry to be so predictable ;) but it's lovely.

    i have a polar ft4 that i found on overstock.com. i hate the color but i do like the options. good luck in your search.
    and yes, i agree that you need the chest strap.

    I <3 my FT4. You can swim with it...even though its not summer any more. :( Unless its an indoor pool!
