Hey y’all.
I’ve been a member on and off for 3+ years. I’ve lost weight, fitness competed, you name it I’ve done it.
Well, I’ve not been in a gym or eating healthy for about two years due to depression and lack of motivation. I’m at my heaviest ever weight. (155lbs at 5’8, 35y/o female). My depression is finally lifting but my weight is killing my self esteem.
I need help being accountable to eat right and to get back to the gym daily.
Please help support me and I will you! I’m open to new workouts, new diet tips, recipes, anything!
I look forward to making many new friends!

You might want to consider joining one of the "report your exercise" threads to create more self-accountability. Here are a couple of examples:

    https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10705619/what-was-your-work-out-today#latest
    https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/331789/tlfc-exercise-and-accountability-support#latest

As usual with long threads, the newer posts are at the end, on higher numbered pages, so don't be surprised if you open the thread and see old posts on page 1. The threads are still active currently.

There are also lots of threads or groups you can find through posts in the Challenges part of the Community, direct link here:

    https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/categories/challenges

Some challenges are specific to a sport (like cycling), others are broader (example: "walk/jog/run/bike miles"), some very broad (example: "24 Hours of Exercise per Month").

There are weight loss challenges as well as exercise challenges. You can read the intro post, see if any of them appeal to you, try it out. There's a bit of accountability from participating, but it's also a good way to "meet" like-minded people who are open to being MFP friends, and share your approach or goals.
