New to community, long time app user

Hey everyone. Thought I’d join the community since I’ve been using the app forever (about 2 years really) but never posted. I’m from Texas and into mixed martial arts in my spare time. I am currently a red belt looking to test for red/black early next year, hopefully. I do some extra training at home to keep cardio up for that purpose.

I used to use this app to track calories but I think I’ve got the habit down now so no need to do the extra work. In the process I’ve lost just about 65 lbs since June 2020. Feel better than ever except for the typical aches and pain from mma training.
Just wanted to say hello and see what this is all about.

I've had this app forever but haven't used it in a very long time. I had a baby 6 weeks ago. I gained 50lbs in this pregnancy and weigh 249 when I went to the doctor today and cried. I was 200 before I got pregnant and have always been bigger but now I feel miserable. So needless to say I'm back tracking my calories again starting now and am new to the community because I never posted anything before.

I use the app to help me track macros as I’m on a huge weight loss journey. Started out over 300 lbs and now have faith and hope I will see the below 200 mark sometime this year!!

Good luck on your weight loss journey. It can be done. The calorie tracking is probably the most important part when you’re starting. It trains you how to eat. I was 245 when I started. I’m 180 now.

    You can do it!

    Good luck! It’s definitely achievable!
